Awhile ago, my friend asked me to draw the Firefly characters in anime style. She thought it was cool, so I decided to make my own Kaylee anime style pic. It's my version of Kaylee's first look at Serenity. I can just imagine Kaylee, who loves Serenity so much, spotting it coming to her planet and becoming awed by it and feel a connection to it. Kinda like how Captain and the other crew members seemed drawn to it...

I've always had mixed feelings on Jayne, and I think this'll be my hardest poster to make yet. The large headshot was a pain (kept getting all blurrified). What I do like about this is the three side images, depicting the three faces of Jayne. The goofy one, the merc, and the serious one (the end of Jaynestown will forever be seared into my mind).

Okay, so I had this awful thought. What if Inara hooked up with a client for the first time, and when she finally met them in person, there was something repulsive (physically, spiritually, whatever...) about them and she couldn't go through with the 'companionship'. She'd have to give them something...as I am sure refund policies can be quite tricky in that field...so I designed this. The front says "I spent the night in Inara's Shuttle...and all I got was this luh-suh t-shirt*" and the back says "*I'll be in my bunk..." I spotted this in the background on a few containers in the Eavesdown Docks scenes. The shot on the left was entering Badger's "office". The pic on the right is my attempt to recreate it. I know it's not perfect, but it was my first attempt to do something like this. It was not as easy as I thought. ;) I wonder what TG means... Thoughts?
