Or perhaps the great great great great great grandmother of Montgomery "Scotty" Scott?

Displaying my dorkage, but Scotty's a 24th century character and Kaylee belongs to the 25th. (I think I've got my centuries right, but I'm never sure. I am however, certain that Scotty should come about a century before Kaylee)

I'll see your dorkage, and raise you. . .
Actually, Scotty's day was the 23rd century. Sure, he's still tottering around in the Next Gen universe in the 24th but that's a century after the original series.

I prefer to think of her simply as Macguyver's *Greatest* Grand-daughter.

Shiny,
In the 2nd part of Good Knight Macgyver, that revealed Mac's first name was Angus. Those two episodes were similar to the premise of the Serenity episodes (MacGyver would dream he was in the Old West and resided in a town named Serenity).
In these episodes, MacGyver gets hit on the head after pushing someone (I think it was a guy that had just gotten married or his wife) out from a falling painter's scaffold and he got whacked on the head. While he was unconcious, he dreamt that he was back in time during the whole King Arthur period.
I'm horrified that I remembered that off my head. I'm even more horrified that I found the episode title because I have a program containing an episode guide for the entire series LOL.
