I've always had mixed feelings on Jayne, and I think this'll be my hardest poster to make yet. The large headshot was a pain (kept getting all blurrified). What I do like about this is the three side images, depicting the three faces of Jayne. The goofy one, the merc, and the serious one (the end of Jaynestown will forever be seared into my mind).

The tag line also comes from Jaynestown, and really says a million diffrent things. My dad still doesn't understand why Jayne is on Serenity, so the line just popped at me (this is coming from the guy who doesn't see where you find out that china and the usa survived and combined, and that the pyshics of the show are off. Sci-fi geek :P )

The end of Jaynestown is one of those moments that truly sets Firefly apart from other, more mediocre shows. "Ain't about you, Jayne. It's about what they need." Great line. And the looks on their faces (Mal's and Jayne's) made you wonder what each was thinking THEY needed. I actually tried to create an image that captured that moment, and realized that I couldn't. You just have to see it.

Regardless, this is a great image. Kudos!

Hows it sit...pretty cunning don't ya think?
Love the choices for the images. Only thing, how come two of the small faces are clear and the third has a ghosted look and a horizontal bar going through it?

The bar is the image of Jayne licking the knife. And the transperancy was set down a bit, because that side of Jayne isn't as strong... yeah, I'm just weird, sorry :P
