Blue Sun Room GRAPHICS - IMAGES

A lovely parting gift...thanks for paying!

Sunday, August 22, 2004

Okay, so I had this awful thought. What if Inara hooked up with a client for the first time, and when she finally met them in person, there was something repulsive (physically, spiritually, whatever...) about them and she couldn't go through with the 'companionship'. She'd have to give them something...as I am sure refund policies can be quite tricky in that field...so I designed this. The front says "I spent the night in Inara's Shuttle...and all I got was this luh-suh t-shirt*" and the back says "*I'll be in my bunk..." There is also a customizable version with the "bunk" quote in the image on the front.
The link below should take you to my collection on zazzle, thus far.

There is also an all English version with "luh-suh" replaced by "lousy" for the 'traditional tourist style' t-shirt.

Hmm...maybe I should buy one for Mal...he sure spends alot of time in Inara's shuttle with nothing to show for it. :)

Yeah he was probably a really hideous client with boiles.
Hey the blue sun was a nice touch. You've got quite a collection of Shiny t-shirts going there.

Not to be a downer or anything, but you should get John's fantastic tees while you can. Zazzle seems to be taking down Serenity artwork. Tiger already got zapped. Check out the thread:

Funny. Might be more "firefly"-y if you wrote "luh-suh" in Chinese, or at least wrote the pinyin correctly. What word are you actually going for there...? (garbage? crappy? stupid?)

2 reasons I did not do the Chinese lettering. 1) It's hard. LOL the TG Freight I did is not quite perfect and it took a long time. 2) This way those of us who "heard" the line but can't read Chinese, know what is meant.

BTW -- what do you mean about writing the pinyin /correctly/? Is there no hyphen or what? I am not a Chinese expert...just a guy having some fun. Of course you may never read this because you posted Anonymously and I can't message you directly. *sigh*
