6ixStringJack: If you're able to move the mattress, what I meant was tip the mattress off of one side or the other (not where a headboard or footboard would be, but the long way). 6ixStringJack: It all goes back to Ted's leverage again. If you can use gravity to help you flip the mattress off and rest it on its end against something (preferably a wall if one is close to one side of the bed). Then you just push it back where you need it after you've pushed the frame back and then let gravity do the work of getting it back on your frame and you just have to scoot the end back up onto it. I hope that makes sense.

| 6ixStringJack: Yeah. If there's any way you can keep that mattress up on its side while you're moving the frame back to the wall where you want it, yous should strive for that. You would still have to push the mattress itself back too, but at least you wouldn't be struggling with trying to flip it back up. Brenda: I've tried the sitting on the floor a while ago when I got ride of a crappy chair I was sitting on. Problem with that is I have a hard time getting back up again. My neck will never be right again. The surgery to remove the tumour just continued the damage done by that.
