THG: Sorry, I asked Gilligan a question. Still waiting for an answer.
I'm sorry, do you mean Trump, Epstein Technical Data Sheet? - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.24 00:14
Brenda: Also yes the years do start melding together as you get older. I find that from the end of my high school years still about my 20s that it starts. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.23 23:43
Brenda: Anything is possible with tv and movies now. And I hope they don't reboot "Forever Knight". I know they would trash it. It was a good little show, oh a bit campy sure. But it was about a 800year old vampire who was a detective and worked the night shift for crying out loud. Rick Springfield played Nick in the original movie and it was set in LA. Then when it was picked up for a series they moved it to Toronto. Guess it was cheaper to film up here. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.23 23:42

6ixStringJack: Haha. Yeah. I do that from time to time too. It all sort of melts together. With all the remakes and reboots out there, I figured they just brought it back from the dead. Around the end of that show would have been the time they really started ramping that up, and that was just a few years before they brought Dr. Who back. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.23 18:24
Brenda: I looked up when Forever Knight ran from 1992-1996. I am so lousy with years. No, as far as I know Forever Knight was an original show. I loved the show. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.23 09:27

Brenda: Cool. It's set just a little after "Forever Knight" went off the air. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 23:54

6ixStringJack: I was telling my old man about the movie earlier today and even though I didn't have the volume up, the trailer for the movie was playing as I was telling him about it and the movie actually takes place on Halloween Night, 1977. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 10:40

Brenda: Huh. I've given up on listening to film critics. They never like a film I love. Halloween sounds like a good time for a movie like that. I don't remember it but that doesn't mean anything. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 04:05
Brenda: Okay, now I get the title. Which makes sense if he's suppose to be some sort of late night host.
That scenario reminds of "Forever Knight" where LaCroix who was the vampire that turned Nick, was a late night host for a radio show. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 04:03
Brenda: No worries SIX. I haven't seen the trailer. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 04:01
6ixStringJack: I'd first heard about the movie maybe last year from a film critic I like. I think it was around Halloween. Forgot about it until a few days ago when I was watching a video on great Character Actors and how important they are even though most of them don't get lead roles. The lead actor in this movie is one of those "That Guys", and the person making the YouTube video was raving about his performance and what a great movie it was. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 03:59
6ixStringJack: The "Late Night" part is because it's taking place during a filming of a late night talk show, that I guess is supposed to be in our "universe" since they do mention Johnny Carson as his competitor. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 03:38
6ixStringJack: Oh okay, Brenda. I thought you watched a trailer and figured out it was about vampires. Had me worried that I might not like it afterall there. Not big into vampire stuff. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.22 03:37
Brenda: Hello THG. No need for the grumps. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 23:40
Brenda: I'm just guessing about the vampire thing. It's just the title is all. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 23:39
THG: Hurry Gilligan, find the misused word. Get your pat on the head. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 23:33

THG: This is not a movie review thread. We have those. It's meant to be a hello to visitors' of the site thread. We have those two. I posted an interview with Alan Tudyk just a few days ago. No one posted there but it now has 84 views. People do stop by. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 21:56

6ixStringJack: No, really... I know so little about it. If it's got vampires in it, that's news to me lol. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 14:28

Brenda: It does have a creepy factor to clowns for sure. I remember Bozo the Clown. Way to make me feel old. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 10:26
Brenda: Real funny SIX. Real funny. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 10:24
6ixStringJack: I think the whole thing with clowns now is that there's just been one too many creepy ones in real life, and with the ability to walk around like that without people knowing who you are these days is just creepy. I never cared for clowns after I was old enough to stop watching Bozo, but they never bothered me. Last time I've even seen one was 20 years ago. I think their time probably has passed. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 09:41
6ixStringJack: SPOILER ALERT!!! Oh... I hope Late Night with The Devil is not a vampire movie. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 09:38
Brenda: Might be something I like. I do like vampire movies. So you never know. Oh, I've seen a lot of movies over the years that critics have hated but I love. So no worries. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 09:28
Brenda: Huh. Like I said I've heard people say they are afraid of clowns. But I don't get it. What causes that might be the face paint. Anything from the colours used to the designs, you know like the eyebrows or around the mouth. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 09:27
Brenda: I don't really suffer from nightmares either. I've had odd dreams like fever dreams but nothing scary. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 09:24
6ixStringJack: Late Night with The Devil looks to me like one of those movies that will have your hair standing up on your neck whenever you're in the dark for the next few days after watching it. I hear there's no unearned jump scares, and that some people from "modern audiences" won't find the ending satisfying. That could mean it goes either way for me. I generally like endings that most people wouldn't like, but at the same time it could be an ending that the fart-smelling critics love, which is usually trash too. But it does have a high audience score and I've seen 2 people rave about it so far. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 07.21 07:36
