FIREFLY TRAILER

Just finished my entry for the fff.net Firefly trailer contest, which is asking vidders to create a trailer for each episode in order to promote the show and win over new fans. It's really divided into three parts. The Kaylee/Book part at the beginning is meant to capture the overall flavor of the series. The badger speech just afterward is to introduce people to the main character and the setting. Then the final part is about the action and drama of the episode itself.

Hopefully this will help get our show some more attention.

My wife and I were introduced to Firefly by a friend around the time Serenity hit theaters, and we fell for the TV show hard. We finished the box set before going to see the movie, and barely made it in time as it only had a three-week run here. Afterward, we both agreed the series was a better format for Joss' universe, and we're both anxiously waiting for it to come home to the small screen again. Oh it will come home. Like Snoopy.

I'm a nighttime newspaper copy editor who reads a lot of fanfic and I do my best to leave honest opinions on everything I come across, although I almost exclusively read one-shot fics. My job has worn away my attention span to nothing, so I can't get into multi-part fics unless I'm just in love with the story/writer. That said, there are some really talented writers out there. I also write a little fic myself.
