Some forms of communication that don't use words work far better with people, such as Putin, who don't understand written words. Possibly Putin has a severe learning disorder.

What was said, without the spin ....
Quote:
...during a United Nations working group meeting on reducing space threats last week. Konstantin Vorontsov, a member of the Russian delegation, said that the country "would like to underline an extremely dangerous trend that goes beyond the harmless use of outer space technologies and has become apparent during the events in Ukraine. Namely, the United States and its allies use the elements of civilian, including commercial, infrastructure in outer space for military purposes."
Received the second shipment of Starlink stations! @elonmusk keeps his word! Thank you for supporting Ukraine and peace in the entire world! @OMarkarova thanks! pic.twitter.com/hNZwsXkOCT
— Mykhailo Fedorov (@FedorovMykhailo) March 9, 2022
Vorontsov never mentioned Starlink by name, but there was no doubting what he was referring to. The Russian Foreign Ministry member and head of the country's UN Office for Disarmament Affairs delegation added a warning: "It seems like our colleagues do not realize that such actions in fact constitute indirect involvement in military conflicts. Quasi-civilian infrastructure may become a legitimate target for retaliation."
"At the very least, this provocative use of civilian satellites is questionable under the Outer Space Treaty, which provides for the exclusively peaceful use of outer space, and must be strongly condemned by the international community," Vorontsov added
Because I'm sure a sternly-worded UN warning to the USA will make it adhere to the treaties it signed.

Putin Blasts West's Nuclear Narrative: "It Doesn't Make Sense" To Use Nukes In Ukraine
Importantly, he rejected head-on the allegations from the West that he ever so much as hinted at plans to deploy nukes in Ukraine, describing a nuclear strike in the context of the "special operation" to be ultimately pointless. "We see no need for that," Putin said. "There is no point in that, neither political, nor military." He underscored, "it doesn't make sense for us to do it.
He went on to emphasize that Russia had "never said anything proactively about the possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia." At the same time he lashed out at Washington, for being the "only country in the world that has used nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state" - in reference to WWII and the bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
He specifically referenced prior statements of Liz Truss and vague references to his saying he's willing to defend Russia "by all means available" as having been intentionally misinterpreted and distorted:
Putin said an earlier warning of his readiness to use “all means available to protect Russia” didn’t amount to nuclear saber-rattling but was merely a response to Western statements about their possible use of nuclear weapons.
He particularly mentioned Liz Truss saying in August that she would be ready to use nuclear weapons if she became Britain's prime minister, a remark which he said worried the Kremlin.
“What were we supposed to think?” Putin said. “We saw that as a coordinated position, an attempt to blackmail us.”
Literally as Putin was speaking, the Pentagon decided it was a good time to unveil a stunning nuclear strategy reversal, saying it would no longer rule out use of nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear threat.

Comrade signym just can't see the facts in front of her face. Putin and Russia are coming to an end and what we have here is, a failure to communicate.

In its determination to capture Bakhmut, the Kremlin is ‘driving people to their deaths’, treating them like ‘single-use soldiers’.
The Soviet Red Army did have successes with the human wave tactics, using them in sheer desperation as they sought to cling on in the early days of the Battle of Stalingrad. Sometimes it was for lack of equipment, but the Red Army also made use of press-ganged civilians and penal battalions.
More broadly, the Red Army’s victorious strategy was predicated on always having more soldiers to send into the meat grinder, millions of men that the German army simply could not match.
There are, though, two key differences between now and the 1940s. One, the Russian effort is almost entirely futile.
As the Institute for the Study of War described it last week, Moscow’s forces “are likely falsifying claims of advances in the Bakhmut area to portray themselves as making gains in at least one sector”.
The attack, which has been underway since May, would likely be a waste of time and men even if it did succeed. Taking Bakhmut would open the road to Slovyansk, but with the other arm of the pincer snapped off by Ukraine’s recapturing of Izyum, there would be little chance of Slovyansk falling.
The second is demographics. Where human wave attacks have previously been used – the Soviets at Stalingrad, China in the Korean War, Iran against Iraq, and Ethiopia in its war with Eritrea – booming demographics and widespread poverty meant that human life was cheap while materiel was expensive.
Russia is not in that position. Its population, especially of working age, is contracting sharply, made worse by a mass exodus due to the war. Every man killed is a catastrophe for Russian society, let alone its faltering army.

It is Kiev, not Russia, using "human waves". Bc Kiev doesn't have air superiority, artillery, missiles and hardly any tanks they have to rely on what they DO have: cannon fodder. Kiev is losing approx 5-8 soldiers for every one of Russia's.
What is missing from MOST frontline encunters? Russian infantry. The only two places that I know of where there were significant infantry encounters were Mariupol and (now) Bakhmut, and those relie(d) heavily on Chechens, LDNR, and the Wagner Group, with Russian standoff weapon support.
Yanno, you both should be jolted into reality with the understanding that the only reason why the USA needs to "go nuclear" is because it's the ONLY weapon that is near-parity to Russia's.
The fact that the PENTAGON was ready "go nuclear" BEFORE Russia invaded Ukraine should have told you that THEY knew that they were insufficient. Specifically, there was no defense against Russia's newest weapons (cruise and hypersonic missiles) and not enough economic or military depth to support a prolonged conventional war. And since every other approach failed, they finally had to use their trump card: attack our troops and we will risk nuclear WWIII.
You really CANT handle the truth, can you? Your whole mental world would crumble, wouldnt it?
That's pathetic.

That's my estimate, based on what I've heard from various sources, including Kiev.
It stands to reason that Kiev would be losing more soldiers. When they go on the offensive, like they're trying in Kherson, their units come under extremely heavy long distance fire. And when Russia goes on the offensive, they "soften up" Kiev trenches and other fortifications with heavy bombardment first. It's just well known by everyone, including Kiev, that Russia has superior standoff weapons and Kiev has very few, which is why Kiev is always begging for more and better (including air defenses)
Following what's been happening, it seems Russia is using this invasion to try out various weapons including suicide drones, artillery, air-launched hypersonic missiles (which is probably what the Pentagon is shitting about) etc
