Uh, we responded with what we wanted to see. You're the one that was snarkily shooting down anything that didn't fit your notion. Blaming it all "boobage" is not openly inaccurate (as there have been other suggestions) but also reveals a bit of bias that might be clouding your responses.

Also, Saff would be in jail on Bellarophon, and even if she could talk her way out of max security-not that I'm saying she couldn't- I gotta think she'd think twice about messin' with Mal and Crew. She's devious allright, but most gals aren't extremely proficient in the revenge business...

What was wrong with Trash? It was a good episode and a movie in the same vein would be fine with me. If you've seen Buffy think about how many times they had Ethan Rein show up to cast a spell or create some kind of crazy havok. Just because the character is a one trick pony doesn't mean they aren't fun.

I'm pretty sure Saffron could talk or deal her way out of jail. Heck I don't know why she wouldn't hand the crew over on a silver platter for a half hour off her sentence.

Also she seemed to go pretty revengy on Mal in Trash.

Basically I guess I disagree with all your points in that post.

The thing about Saffron, though, is that she always loses out when it comes to the crew.

Do you really want her to get away with something against them in movie form? Maybe if there'd been more eppisodes, sure.

All I'm saying is I think Ath could grow to BECOME an epic ass, and it's apparent he's already hated, so making him into the guy you love to hate should'nt be too hard...

Ok,what do you say to Yo-saff's ex taking revenge, then?

After all, they did steal his prized phallic symbol.

Saying everything I post sounds snarky might be taking it a bit far. Everything I posted in this thread may have sounded snarky, because I was snarking at you, but I think you'll find that the word everything encompasses more than a single post to someone who is being irrationally rude.

Facts are stubborn things.

I'm not sure I understand the question - she loses out, but would get away with it, huh?

Anyway, I've little doubt that Joss could come up with a fun story that involved her if he so chose.

And I don't know that Ath is so much hated, as he gets a big ol' "Meh". Just not interesting.

That could maybe have some potential. Except he didn't really strike me as much if a revenge guy. Now, I could see him hiring Saff and our crew for another job....

First, you should know I am hardly ever angry, and that most things I say should be taken in jest... I find it annoying to put smiley faces after everything... Also, people who belittle other people's simple questions with snarky "Are we caring about this" comments (as you have already done) shouldn't call others "irrationally rude"...

I'm saying if she does get away with something, it probably would take a long time(if ever!) to resolve the story, and that would be irritating...

Eh, that's only one way to go with a story, and wouldn't really work unless it was Saffron: The Movie.

A more workable format would be her stealing something in the first act, which the crew gets back by the end, or somesuch. A whole movie of her just screwing the crew would be dull, and not likely something Joss would ever write.

Have you people never heard of "playing devil's advocate?" I just thought I'd debate the less easy options, I think you all are taking this personally or somethin'.
