So now you are going down to fighting over semantics? And you say I'm boring...

Semantics is what I do. Speaking of which, kindly point out where exactly I ever said you were boring, because I'm quite sure I didn't. I am, in fact, mildly entertained, else I wouldn't be responding. If you could see me, you'd know I'm giggling and also snorting.

Facts are stubborn things.

lol, while this is all mildly entertaining, anybody got anymore shiney ideas?

Personally, I see both Atherton and YoSaffBridge as interesting complications, but not enough to be a real plot device. The only reason I hold Niska above those two is because he has a powerful organization under his control, but even Niska I see more as a complication than a focus.

How about something focused on the Guild? That's another thing we haven't really heard much about. Maybe the guild has some nefarious plan to rule the galaxy through it's concubines! Maybe that's why they said many planets woudn't even let them land without a registered companion on board.

That's why the operative let them go, 'cause now everybody knows, and if they get killed it'll just damage the Aliance's rep that much more...Don't think they would've let them go if they could have covered up who sent the signal, unfortunately there was 90 dozen ships and 90 dozen officers who saw Serenity aimed right at 'em with a screen blaring "lookout for this Captain" Oh, and what a coincidence there just happened to be this signal explaining Miranda 10 minutes later... The word of mouth alone would cover a dozen worlds in a dozen days. People are still passing along the tiniest trivia from our civil war, and that was without a Cortex.

Yeah, Mal's gettin' away with anything days would be long done.

You might want to look up the words "implied inference"

200+ people read that thread. I didn't take that to mean nobody cared just that nobody knew otherwise why would they be here if no one cared 'bout it...

I just happen to like inane trivia and Dwier Brown more than most, and I'm just fine with that...

I find his voice soothing.

Yes, I completely agree, that was my only problem with using those characters. Maybe have a whole new villian?

Hmm, the companions take over? Oh, good, ritualized sex for everyone!!! Now I know what to do with my Tuesday nights!

And yet nobody replied to it except me. And you. The thread title was possibly intriguing. The subject was not interesting, so nobody cared to discuss it. Ergo, not one of those 200 plus reads made anyone care. I cared the most of anyone, and only bothered to say that I didn't care. Implied inference indeed.

You were discussing TMZ, a vacuous show about people who harass other people with the hope of appealing to Joe Everymoron. Many, many people are here and don't care about that.

Facts are stubborn things.

Wow, that's interesting... I didn't know you were an approved representative to speak for many people here...

Maybe people were busy, or were interested but didn't have anything to say. Not every post needs discussion, some are just read threads... Besides, I think Harvey Levin is funny, and I don't need your approval for that either...

Wow, 38 posts! This must be a hot thread! Oh wait, 19 (HALF!) of those posts are by the same person. And most of those posts are either shooting down other peoples ideas or going off topic.

I'll post my thoughts when there's a more welcoming environment. (Never thought I'd say that at FFF.net, in a non-RWED thread.)

Ahgh don't worry, you're fairly safe, as long as ya don't mind some good natured debate. Was all I was looking for, anyhow.

Come on in, the water's fine...
