I mean, the guy has means and motive and drive, and since he probably would have to kill Mal to try to regain his honor, I could see him taking this to epic heights. I'm sure he could find some Alliance people who would be more than happy to assist... So,he kidnaps Inara to bait Mal. I mean, it's not exactly taking on a corrupt system, but it's got teeth- and it could be done from the perspective of a few years down the road, which is where we are. I like the take on things that Hotpoint wrote in his fanfic(it was started before the BDM so Wash and Book is still both breathing) but anyway the idea for a very long movie or quite long mini series could be that they find an entire Independent/Browncoat-navy, and through a earlier plot twist bringing these independents, weapons though an prototype weapon(an AI-Ship with incrredible weaponry, to back enginear, and upgrade there own ships)
