Sunshine

By KaySky

Imagine a girl with sunshine inside her. The sunshine flows through her smile, the twinkle in her eyes, and through the warmth in her touch. What happens when her sunshine is stolen? She still smiles, but the sunshine does not flow through. The twinkles in her eyes have vanished. Her warmth has grown cold.

Her sunshine carried her emotions. Happy, sad, or angry she let her emotions flow. This quality made her very innocent, very honest. The sunshine is gone now. Her emotions no longer flow. They build up inside her, having nowhere to go. No one even suspects this whirlwind of emotions is harboring inside. They don’t know her sunshine was stolen. They don’t know her true emotions can no longer flow.

The man who stole her sunshine left an affect on all. The first few days after the incidence were emotional. They all got together to talk about the events of that night. Some talked more than others, but they all talked and they all felt well again. She talked. She told them all she felt well again. She told herself she felt well again, too, but her sunshine was still gone.

As the days went by it became easier for her to act like her sunshine was still there. It is weeks later now. Everything and everyone else is back to normal. No one even suspects her sunshine is gone.

The nights are the hardest. When the darkness comes it brings feelings of fear and guilt. She pushes them deep inside her, adding to all the rest. The emotions inside grow stronger. They are taking over. She was once filled with sunlight, but now she’s filled with

I really liked the notion that Kaylee's sunshine was not stolen but hiding, afraid. And I loved how it was Simon who brought it out again, finally letting her see and feel his love. Very much enjoyed this, shiny! Ali D :~)

Well, SOMEthing had to break the jam!! I think this is the best Simon/Kaylee start yet.

Now what about their first huge blow-up as sweeties?

Glad you all liked the story. About midnight last night I got inspired to write it and I couldn't stop until I was finished which around 1:30-2 am. Fanific can be so addicting at times.

Oldfan45, I love your idea. I think it'd be fun to write a story about their first blow-up. Anyone have any suggestions to what that fight would be over?

I liked it very much too. They are both very vute portrayed.

And about the blow up (god, english is not my first language, and you don't wan't to know what I understood first XPPP)... but about the blow up... it may be a little angsty but, what about River? I mean, Kaylee is lovely, but how easy must be to know that there's someone that will always be above you in you lovers atentions. Always.

it was really sweet.
i'd love to help you with ideas for a blow-up, but i myself am suffreing from a severe lack of creativity, so it's been ages since i posted my last chapter (not to self- do that sometime soon). but anyway, i'm sure anything you come up with will be great!! i mean, it always is!!!
keep it up!!!

no power in the verse!!!

"Out of everyone here, I didn't even consider you." Near broke my heart! So Good!
Early's interaction with Kaylee in OIS was the only time I was truely afraid for one of the characters, and I love how you portray the aftermath for her.

I don't know how I ever missed reading this - but it was great! I've tried to read all the Post-Early stories and written a couple myself and I like this one just about the best of them all! Absolutely beautiful. I hope maybe you have some more to share ... ?
