I imagine most of the crew really likes Halloween, except possibly Simon - he's straight laced, startles easily, and is the target of pranks as it is. Inara might feel either way, I could imagine her seeing it as rude, or that she enjoys the masquerades and not much else, or maybe she might like the supernatural or mysticism sides of the holiday. Book probably is fine with people having some good honest fun, though he might disapprove whenever the fun turns a little mean.

The rest of them love it. Kaylee likes that they buy treats, because they normally don't have the budget for it, and because she gets to dress up like princesses. Zoe secretly likes the treats as well, and enjoys watching all the antics (especially her husband). Wash, well, he gets a bit of manic glee out of it even without the sugar rush, and he doesn't exactly abstain from the candy either. River loves the opportunity to be macabre. Mal gets to be REALLY Mal. And Jayne, see above.

I love how Wash switches costumes. :D That way he won't have to decide on just one.
