Summary: Post BDM. Rayne, Saylee, Mara. Takes place after The Need and The Wish. All Hell breaks lose after Serenity is sabotaged by The Alliance.

Chapter 3 -- Revelations

The baby hadn't stopped crying on Serenity. Inara was doing her best to quiet her, but Zoe through a mother's instinct new exactly what was making the baby so grumpy.

"She's hungry," Zoe said taking off her gun and then her armor. She unbuttoned her vest and then her shirt. Inara watched amazed as Zoe took the baby and began nursing her. The little girl latched on and began to suck and nature did the rest.

"I thought you didn't breast feed anymore," Inara said, touching the babies fuzzy blond hair.

"I switched to bottles when Walker began teething," she said. "I still pump though."

"Gaah!" Mal walked in and got and eye full of Zoe's breast as she switched sides the baby happily latched on to the other breast, she looked up into Zoe's eyes and Zoe smiled touching her face.

"Mama?" Walk said and touched the baby head gently. She was surprised her bossy son's gentleness towards the new baby.

Jayne walked in and grinned at the sight of Zoe feeding the baby, "Well at least the new one ain't gonna starve."

"Yeah, um, Zoe, when you're ready, we'v
