6ixStringJack: I have some earlier DOS pinball tables that were actually pretty phenomenal for their time and hold up well today. Once they were able to put 3D graphics into things and could give a real good isometric view of these tables that changed the game. I'd like to play something newer, but I don't have any tech that would play anything beyond those Marvel tables I showed you. I suppose I could probably find them on the High Seas if I wanted to, since the XBox 360 store shut down and I couldn't even buy them on my brother's hand me down system if I wanted to anymore. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.26 02:41

6ixStringJack: Both sides of it were the game. The right side was just your score and the high score and some other information while the table was on the left side. It was a pretty basic pinball game, and somehow stayed with Windows for many years over different operating systems. I saw a video about why it was removed from Windows 10. Had something to do with the game not being compatible with 64bit architecture, and it was actually not included in 64bit versions of earlier windows OS either because of that. Some guy did a bunch of coding to get it to finally work on Windows 10 again. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.26 02:38
Brenda: The one on the left looks like the game that was on my lap top. It was an okay game. Like I said just had to figure out how to work everything on a computer.

Brenda: I know the game the person had was Atari but don't know much else about it outside it was an early one. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 23:48
Brenda: Yeah, the one on my lap top had some kind of theme. I just not sure as too what. Think it was sort of space themed. I don't remember what operating system it was on. 7 sounds familiar but not sure. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 23:47

6ixStringJack: Was this the pinball you had on your laptop?
- http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 11:19
6ixStringJack: Yeah... Early Atari 2600 game that Video Pinball was. (It's possible in Canada you knew it as the Atari VCS). It was the first system I had when I was a kid. Sold 30 Million units worldwide at the time, which was huge, but consoles these days can sell as much as 5 or 6 times that many. Gaming is so much bigger worldwide these days than it was back then. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 10:05
6ixStringJack: Was the pinball on your laptop space themed? If it was, that is the one I was talking about. You're probably running something like Windows 7 or Vista or even as early as XP on that laptop. I think that pinball game made it all the way to Windows 7 but they removed it before 10. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 10:02
Brenda: I hit the link and it looks more like pong, which I've played. Now that was boring as all get out. But it was one of the first video games put out. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 09:36
Brenda: I probably am as to the pinball on the laptop. My desktop doesn't have that on it. Just solitaire and some other stuff under games. I think I can even get a version of mah jong. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 09:34

6ixStringJack: Haha.... Yeah. Video Pinball was the title. Check out how bad it was: [go to link] Still probably one of the better games on the system. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 02:13
6ixStringJack: I wonder if you're talking about the classic Pinball game that Microsoft put in all the Windows until recently. I liked that little pinball game. I've always been a fan of video pinball. In fact, I think "Video Pinball" was the name of the Atari 2600 game we had when I was a kid, and that was pretty awful but I still loved it. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.25 02:11
Brenda: I bet they are. I can't remember what the only real pinball game was that I played. My last laptop had a pinball game on it. It wasn't bad but it took me a bit to figure out which buttons to push. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 23:52
6ixStringJack: Yeah. Those virtual tables were available on the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 for download almost 15 years ago. The virtual tables they have today must be insane. I bet with motion controls and devices like the Nintendo Switch they could even simulate things like tilting the table, and losing your ball for tilting too much too. I always wanted a real pinball machine. If I had a choice, it would be either The Simpsons or Mars Attacks. Those were the two best ones I'd played over the years. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 10:32
Brenda: A pinball video game from today would probably be cool. But alas I wouldn't be able to play it. I hate that as I do like playing video games. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 09:10
Brenda: Huh. Now that I'm looking at the first image you posted I can see why you thought it was a pinball game. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 09:09
Brenda: Tried the right click but nothing happened. I'm sure if I google it I can find it. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 09:07
Brenda: The first one I don't know what it was suppose to be but it was slooooow coming up. The second one came up though after the first one. I will try that see what the first one is. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 09:06
6ixStringJack: Like you care, Ted. You've never met a black person who wasn't serving you in some way. More black people voted for Trump than any other Republican before him, and you're going to continue to lose black voters because they're onto you dumb white college "educated" liberals now. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 06:07

6ixStringJack: Did you see those pics? They show up on my side in the tags, but I don't know if you can see them. If you right click on one you can open it n a new tab and see it full screen. They're really large images. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.24 04:34
Brenda: Oh, that's what you were trying to post. Not sure if I've seen pinball Wolverine. That would be cool. Think the one game I tried to or played was just a regular pinball machine. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 23:23
6ixStringJack: They did Wolverine too.
- http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 10:37
6ixStringJack: Looks like that was 14 years ago. Can't even imagine what a pinball video game from today would look like. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 10:33
6ixStringJack: I was wrong. There wasn't a real pinball machine. I remember reading about it getting one of 4 Marvel virtual tables in some "recent" video game pinball. I never saw it or saw pictures of it before. Check that out... damn near looks real if it had a good frame rate while you play it.
- http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 10:32
Brenda: I never played much pinball. I probably did see a machine for the character but just don't remember it. My friends I mostly played Galaga when this comic book shop we used to go to had video games. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 09:45
6ixStringJack: Yeah. I don't actually know anything about Moon Night other than the cool costume and a cool pinball machine they made for the character back in the day. Either Netflix or Disney made a show of Moon Knight, but I didn't watch it. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.23 07:35
Brenda: For me it is about respect. I never knew my grandmother or my great uncle. We only had contact with one of my great aunts when I was growing up. She died when I was in high school. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 23:32
Brenda: It definitely was a jumble to me. I remember Steve Bucemi being it. And the collection he had but not much else. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 23:27
Brenda: Yeah, there was nothing from your first link. Second time worked. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 23:25
Brenda: They did kind of. I remember Moon Knight but again never had one. There were a lot of tweaks. Different mask, armour, I guess you would call what the character is wearing. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 23:24
Brenda: Yeah, like I said I don't think I have ever seen a Ghost Rider cover like that before. I know about the Klan and that is possible. Oh, I know Stan Lee was. No, he wouldn't have. His X-Men were before their time. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 23:22
6ixStringJack: It's cool you do the braid for them. I don't know how I would honor anybody I respected and I miss. I'd have to think on it. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:31
6ixStringJack: Ghost World was kind of jumbled, but a big part of it was about learning about the past and not letting it just disappear. The two girls were Seniors that just graduated and somehow they meet Steve Bucemi who is playing a dude on the weirder end of Steve Bucemi's range, but he's a decent guy if I remember right. One of the girls was really drawn to his music and old record collection, but sees that he collects and sells all sorts of weird old stuff she'd never seen on TV or in the history books or anywhere else and it all kind of blew her mind that not all that long ago there was this entirely different world that would be unfathomable to her today with how she was raised and the media she's consumed as a GenXer graduating in the mid-to-late 90s. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:24
6ixStringJack: Oh... just showed up this time. Sweet. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:13
6ixStringJack: Oops. Bad link. This one is good:
- http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:13
6ixStringJack: They kind of ended up recycling that costume in a way though with Moon Knight years later, which I don't really know anything about the character but I always loved that costume too. The did some tweaks to it though, so it couldn't be mistaken for nothing offensive to nobody and it wasn't a cowboy neither. Pic of him here:
- http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:11
6ixStringJack: Yeah. I love that Ghost Rider artwork. I just see why they felt the need to stop printing it. I don't think that was just a fluke. Probably didn't even mean nothing by it either, but something big probably happened in the news one day that had to do with the Klan (because I know that happened at least before I was born if not before you were born too). And Stan Lee was pretty progressive for his time and wouldn't have knowingly been putting stuff like that out. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 18:08
Brenda: That's what makes history so important. We need to hopefully keep human from making the same mistakes over and over. That is why I wear my hair in a braid. Once it was just to keep my long hair out of the way. But now it is to honour my grandmother and her siblings. Their braids would have been cut off at residential school - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:50
Brenda: Trust me Jack. Erasing the past is a very bad thing. Human beings in general have a very short memory for certain things. That's why we write history books or oral history. So things are hopefully not forgotten. I consider myself something of an amateur historian and archaeologist as well as the sciences joined to those. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:47
Brenda: I've seen Ghost World but that was years ago. A friend decided I needed to see it. Can't remember much about it now but to me it seemed like a bunch of jumbled stuff put together. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:43
Brenda: I never read Ghost Rider like I said. And wasn't the more modern character been a daredevil rider and was killed. Or something like that.? I don't know. Oh, I'm sure that a lot of people have forgotten about the original Ghost Rider. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:42
Brenda: My dad wouldn't have known comic books when he was growing up. There would have probably still been .10cent novels around. And they wouldn't have been the greatest. I had a Namor comic where he was still involved with WWII. I think I just remember the Vault of Horrors and Weird Science. But they weren't my thing. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:38
Brenda: It does look pretty cool for Ghost Rider. Like I said I never know that about the character. Well, could also say that characters have to evolve to stay relevant. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:33
Brenda: Dude, Air Canada just went back to work. - http://www.fireflyfans.net 08.22 09:31
