I had so much to do but then I let a bout of depression after my diagnosis and the death of my grandma and friend's dad all happening in a single year derail my life for over 1 1/2 years where I buried myself in projects that wouldn't make me any money and weren't improving my situation in life and just kind of shut out the rest of the world. And I put myself in the position where I didn't need to work or really need to do much of anything. She wasn't exactly right down the street from me, but I didn't need a plane to get out there. Brenda: Once the end of the year comes I will start looking into when I can go out. It will also depend on the weather. Used to be Spring was an iffy time to go out to the Prairies. Never knew if you were going to run into snow or not. But the weather is changing out there too. Yeah, they want me back out and I want back out there. So end of the year I start looking.

6ixStringJack: Glad you had a good time, and I'm sure you're still kind of riding that high of being around people you've missed and getting a break from the mundanity of everyday life. Once you're all back into the swing of things and get back to normal life, you should start planning the next time with them, even if it's not going to be for a while. Just plan it out, and you'll have something solid to look forward to instead of leaving the idea of visiting with them again just some nebulous thought of something that needs to be done again some day.

Brenda: Hey Jack. No planes ran well both ways. Didn't get in until 4:30pm my time this Tuesday afternoon. And I wanted to get my meds and stuff out of my backpack. I only took that because I was not going to pay $25CAD for extra luggage when I didn't need it. Then I had to have something to eat. Grilled cheese because cheese was about the only thing I had in my fridge.
