Sure...

Even in the 50's and 40's as well... Remember this was just a small list, and generally these types of movies don't do very well unless there is an agenda behind them.

Would you consider these mediocre movies, or even below average?

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (58)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (58)
Fast and the Furious (58)
The Thing (80's version) (57)
Ghostbusters II (56)
Alita: Battle Angel (54)
The Fifth Element (52)
Underworld (42) (highest Underworld was 44)

There might be some nostalgia goggles on with me here, sure, but I think those ratings are pretty unfair when you reference them against even your average comic book movies of today.

And I'm sorry... there's no fucking way that The Thing deserves the same rating as the lowest rated Marvel movie that I could find (Thor / 57). It's one of the horror/sci-fi greats of the 80's and still holds up today with the practical effects.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

LOL... Brie's been a thing all this time... I guess?

Check out this Girl Power anthem.

But seriously, don't. It's like sticking sharp objects in your ears.

What is she here? Like an Ashlee Simpson wannabe or something?

I was thinking Rose Byrne was kinda badass in Spy. With Morena.

And Keeping Up With The Jones had Gal Gadot.

Supposed to be some elite female Fighter Squadron Pilots in the mid 1990s. I didn't know this was supposed to be a comedy. Sure, they had enough sense to make it Air Farce, which didn't have quite so many female Pilot disasters, but c'mon - Elite Fighters?

Yeah. We're old dudes now. The 90's is that same mythical time to the kids growing up today that the 60's and 70's were to me. In my experience it's not until you reach your early to mid thirties that you realize that was really just yesterday.

History doesn't mean anything to people with money and an agenda. I'm sure a lot of kids are going to leave Captain Marvel believing there were elite fighter squads made up of nothing but women in the ancient days of late last century.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

I imagine you don't understand the difference between Fighter Pilots and others, and/or why women have tremendous difficulty competing with men for these assignments.

And I suppose you are unaware of the Clinton disasters with women in the military.

I've never been up in the air in a hot air balloon. I know absolutely nothing about it.

Brie sure does make use of the sexy sideways glance , which Suzanna Hoffs from The Bangles perfected, so many years ago.

She's a Disney version of Avril Lavinge, and her C.M. is a Disney level Avenger. Makes sense.

I have to wonder, did she get worked over by man /men in the music industry, Harvey Weinstein style, as a young starlet , and maybe that's what is at the heart of her ' woman scorned ' / SJW wahmen power routine ?

Or is she just over playing the drama as a means to draw attention to herself ?

Not sure if you guys actually subjected yourself to that terrible song or not... I wasn't joking though... Most pop crap is pretty alright for background noise, afterall.. that's what it's designed to be. But the "band" is terrible, and her singing was horrible as well. I think Rebecca Black had more talent.

But anyways...

I'll just go off the assumption that you all made the correct choice and decided not to ruin your Friday morning by subjecting yourself to that noise and post the lyrics of the song for you here.

Quote:

I'm late again
Got a lower grade today than yesterday
You hate me
That's why you don't care what I have to say
And I try
But my running sucks
And I try
But I hate doing gym class
I, I play guitar
But in your class
That won't get me far
Please give me a "C"
So that I can be
Finally out of P.E.
I'm never gonna win a medal
But maybe a grammy
You don't care
You just wanna make sure that you fail me
In my mind
I'm so far away
In my mind
I made a mistake
I, I play guitar
But in your class
That won't get me far
Please give me a "C"
So that I can be
Finally out of P.E.
You may think I'm just a troublemaker
But I have talent you can't see
Just because I'm not athletic
Doesn't mean that you can degrade me
I show up, shouldn't that be enough
I, I play guitar
But in your class
That won't get me far
Please give me a "C"
So that I can be
Finally out of P.E.
I, I play guitar
But in your class
That won't get me far
Please give me a "C"
So that I can be
Finally out of P.E.

Girl Power, huh?

I'm not much of a gambling man these days, but if there was somewhere I could put a large sum of money down that at some point in the future Brie will be blaming this performance and being forced to sing those lyrics on the Patriarcy, I bet I could recoup all that money I lost by not buying Bitcoin when it was only $50.

Captain Marvel was at 31% Audience Score with over 58,000 reviews.

Creepy weirdo SJW's purge 54,000 reviews, but score only improves to 36% Audience Score.

Number has now climbed to 18,000+ reviews and has a 51% Audience Score.

A large part of these new reviews are identical text with random names and random pictures. If you look close enough, you'll see that Ethan from H3H3 posted a positive review with this script under the name Nathan at around 3:45.

Doing a search on "I'll make it very simple and clear" "captain marvel", I found a reddit called r/copypasta here:

I'll make it very simple and clear: Captain Marvel is really worth a watch. It's just entertaining and visually impressive, exactly what it was meant to be. Just keep this in mind that it's an origin story so don't go looking for an overstuffed complex story. It's just a fun action movie that introduces us to a new superhero Captain Marvel, played brilliantly by Brie Larson. I became an instant fan watching her in this action heroine avatar, something she manages to pull off with ease. Watch her in the action sequences and there's no way you can't be impressed. Viewers were literally cheering for some of the most heroic moments in the film. Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury is as awesome as always, it's just that his character feels even better and refined than what we've seen. Jude Law is also quite good, and so are Ben Mendelsohn and Lashana Lynch. But the one character that ultimately steals the show is Goose, the cat. Some of the sequences involving her are so hilarious that it was really difficult to stop laughing. Visual effects are excellent, and the IMAX 3D viewing just elevated them. And since it's most importantly an action movie, every single action sequence it delivers is impressive, especially the train sequence. I would call it one of the major highlights of the movie. Cinematography in certain portions is really impressive. Humor, like any other MCU movie, is top notch and really manages to make you laugh. Captain Marvel has a simple-looking origin story presented and executed in a terrific manner. The directors have done a great job with the characterization of Captain Marvel, and that is what makes everything in the film seem so good. The pace is brisk, gore is minimal to no, and there's nothing unsuitable for kids. I'd definitely recommend watching Captain Marvel to anyone who likes superheroes or is simply a fan of action movies. You'll love it if you want to be entertained. It also does answer some much-asked questions, and that should be the reason enough for you to stay instead of just walking away. Can't wait to watch Avengers: Endgame now!

Youtube has also taken the terms "Brie Larson" and "Captain Marvel" and put them in their "trending news" algorithm so if any normies do a search for either of those terms they will only get top results from "authoritative news outlets" like Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly, CNN, etc.

The fix is in, every bit as much as Hillary was going to win the Dem primary, and Bernie never had a chance.
