I think RapKnight's post in the non-cinema thread indicated he had. But I'm not certain.

I wonder if this is the highest Box Office for the worst audience rating.

They keep pumping it full of fake good reviews on RT. Up to 59% now. Soon it will be 80% and be higher than the critics rating.

Meanwhile, metacritic's user score is a 3.3 out of 10.

IMDB is a 7.1 out of 10, where 21,000+ people give it a 10 out of 10.

Here's a real online critic who has submitted his impressions of CM:

Best review I've seen on it so far.

Really takes the piss out of everybody arguing about this bland and predictable offering.

You think that guy is from Green Bay, or just a fan?

I don't know his exact address, but the whole group there is from Wisconsin. I've only been aware of them for about 4-5 years now, but they've got videos doing this stuff when they were all around college age. (I skipped the first 5 or 6 minutes of the review on the timestamp of the link I sent, because it wasn't at all related to the movie and had a lot to do with the upcoming DNC possibility in Wisconsin).

I laughed when I first realized that they were getting their start back in the days of early youtube I probably lived within 15 minutes of where they were making their videos.

Do you know Lambeau Field is at the intersection of Lombardi Ave and Onieda St? I am 2 blocks from Onieda.

I actually didn't know that. I lived in New Berlin for 5 years but only ventured into Milwaukee on fairly rare occasions. All of my friends and family were back in Illinois, so I usually came back that way when I wasn't working.

I had a friend from work who lived in the south part of Milwaukee that I'd visit sometimes. Other than that, I'd go to Summerfest or the Safe House bar when my friends came up for that, but I pretty much stayed out of Milwaukee.

Damned if I don't still call pop, soda after all of these years. I never did start calling a water fountain a Bubbler though.

Saw it last night and the movie is perfectly fine. Nothing special. Only one part is a bit too on the nose about girl power to me, but I won't spoil it. The MCU is really getting good with their de-aging technology. Samuel L Jackson looks good in the movie. Only a few parts where the effect gets a little wonky.

Brie Larson is a bit off with her acting. I don't know what it is exactly. Comedic timing or tone or something. Mostly she does fine, but some of it's a little too goofy IMO.

Anyone who says the story is too predictable is lying. There's definitely some twists in there that no one would predict ahead of time. Overall, it's a super hero origin movie. So, yeah there are familiar beats. That's how it works, but it's still an enjoyable movie.

Thanks for the pocket review Zeek. I figured it would be just about where you say, an okay movie and within the MCU trope.
