Second - bizarre as the birther stuff was, it originated from the Hillary campaign. And if it were true, there would be zero racism involved. It would be in fact a legitimate issue. Regardless of whether or not he was our first black president. What, do you believe that just because he is our first black president he is absolved. from any wrongdoing or potential scandal? Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You don't get to arbitrarily assign intent when someone questions whether or not Obama was born in the United States. What about John McCain? Or Ted Cruz? Born outside of the geographical United States, but were still naturalized citizens. Do you think questioning their citizenship would be racist as well?
