Oh, and NO ONE at all feels his vibe? Thinks it's funny he's buying guns? Explosive material?

Theatre-wise, ONE FUCKING USHER checking doors could have prevented/limited this. Oh, no ushers anymore. Well, the theatre corporation saved themselves a lot of money.

Smaller version of 9-11 here. No or shit security for BUDGETARY reasons. Save a buck; lose some lives.

Chrisisall, wearing a frilly Mal thing on his head, and ready to shoot unarmed, full-body armoured Operatives

Hello,

I don't think more security is the answer to this question. I'm not sure I want enough security to protect me from madmen who plan killing sprees. I don't even like taking off my shoes at the airport.

Note to Self:
Raptor - woman testifying about birth control is a slut (the term fits.)
Six - Wow, isn't Niki quite the CUNT? And, yes, I spell that in all caps....
Wulf - Niki is a stupid fucking bitch who should hurry up and die.

Yeah, and if only one movie patron HADN'T carried all his guns, 50 shootings would never have happened.

You'd need a gun and night vision glasses in a cinema to have prevented this.

If only people walked around like fully armed and equipped military personnel this would never have happened.

I was having this kind of conversation with my husband last night about the norwegian killings where he was lamenting the lack of useful police response. And my argument was...it's just not something you can ever plan for, someone going on a killing rampage of innocents going about their everyday lives.

Same at Port Arthur, a massacre that happened 15 years ago here. That's an isolated place, people would not have locked their doors, and the most the police would normally have to do is follow up a bit of vandalism or drunk and disorderly.

I do not wish to live in a world where you have armed guards everywhere, or you have to arm yourself to walk down the street. There is something very wrong with that world.

And of course you have evidence for such a claim...

Right?

Or do you think they sell tickets to guys wearing gas masks carrying swords and rifles?

By most accounts, he was in the theater, got a phone call, went out the exit at the rear of the theater, then came back in, suited up and armed.

Seems he was indeed a patron, and had a ticket.

Oh, and he says he's The Joker.

But I'm sure you have solid evidence that he's the Jewish Nazi Queen of England...

I cry bullshit to the NRA and the Wulf-like Rambo-fantasy types. If everyone in the theater was armed this would have turned into complete chaos, hundreds of frightened, injured people blindly shooting at anything that moves in the dark and smoke. It would have blown up, spreading from theater to theater until no one knew why it started. Many many many more dead.

However, I have no fantasy that complete gun control could prevent this. I'm pretty strongly against the idea of no guns whatsoever in the general population. That's ridiculous, since no amount of gun laws will stop the Bad Guys from getting guns. The good and the neutral must be able to defend themselves. But how's about making it at least somewhat difficult to acquire guns that do nothing but kill lots of people fast? Automatics and such? It should not be so easy to buy these things. It's madness that it is.

Sadly, what I see following from this shooting are the extremes:

OMG! Everyone should have a gun, then this wouldn't happen!

OMG! If no one was allowed to have a gun, this wouldn't happen!

Both arguments are 100% stupid. People have the right to pursue gun ownership, but it should be at least as difficult as getting a license to drive a car.

Isn't Colorado one of those free and easy, Wild West states with really lax (or free and loose, if you prefer those terms) gun possession and carry laws, at least compared to New York, Mass., and California?

Under 21 year old ADULTS are usually banned from carrying guns in public
unless they're in the military then they are ordered to
genocide women and children every day for Uncle Scam

Everyone in the Batman movie not carrying a loaded gun won their Darwin Award.

Some sheeple are just too stoopid to survive reality.

The Batman fanboys said they "thought" it was part of the movie, so they didn't run away or fight back.

The teenage fangirls got shot in the back because girls are not capable of fighting back without a gun.

Dial 911 and DIE, either by "lone" gunmen in CIA's MKULTRA Mind Kontrol torture project,
or get shot by police state death squad if you try to escape the Victim Disarmament Zone
(cops shot students escaping at nearby Columbine).

United Nations THIS WEEK is negotiating a treaty with Obama to ban all guns in USA.

Obama illegally ordered US soldiers to practice killing US citizens and steal their guns.

Governments murdered 300-million of their OWN citizens in the past 100 years.

The US Govt has murdered over 100-million of its OWN citizens since 1973, just counting aborticide.

Anybody with a brain would already be at Wallymart buying a loaded gun by now, if they didn't already have 1 or 10.

This shooter was clearly in the CIA's MKULTRA brainwash program at Colorado medical college.

This "lone" nut clearly had a controller who triggered his command to switch personalities and start shooting,
or who called the patsy outside while the military combat soldier walked back in wearing a gas mask disguise.

I carry a loaded gun almost everywhere I go, and these mass shootings don't scare me one bit.

Who the hell takes a 3-month-old baby to a midnight movie premier? Or to ANY movie?

My sis in law used to take her baby to the cinemas with her. it was one of thos kids that would sleep through anything. but seriously, batman is a loud, violent and disturbing movie. it just can't be a great idea.

When I saw the Dark Knight I was seriously pissed off that there were a couple of young children in the cinema. This is not a film for little kids, but some parents seem to have no boundaries with their small children.

Don't publish the names of the killers. No photos. No history.

If someone does this for 15 minutes of fame, make sure they don't get it.
