We had a Christmas themed Shindig, complete with an Elder Gommen Gift Exchange! OMR was the episode of choice and the namesake for this Shindig as Mal says "Is it Christmas?". Combined with an "I got post?" feel of the Message as we all recieved gifts just for being a part of the shindig, it was great fun. So this is the poster I handed out to the other fans, it has the OMR title quote and the screencap I used for the tree came straight from The Message and of course it has my own (not-so)subtle touches. :)

So I got one of those make your own mousepad kits, and these are my words of advice: BELIEVE the thing about lightening your pic by 15%, no matter how stupid it looks on screen, AND the ink NEVER fully dries, so just iron it already, AND whatever you do, DON'T try to reposition the printout once you've placed it on the mousepad - white edges are better than big tears in your image.

Gen Con, a gaming convention, was held this weekend in Anaheim, California. Nathan and Adam were scheduled to appear, but Adam had to cancel. Morena went in his place instead. After getting autographs, I asked if I could take a picture of the two of them together. Nathan gathered Morena into a hug causing the group of Browncoats watching to go "Awwww...."
