9 imortalized forever
a crew of never forgotten
risking all
upon lines laying down so much & everything

we followed
into black, into those dark & greyer places
and like no rose did we emerge on the other side

for we are on no other side.
an empire of knights & farmboys have had their final say

though they try to carry on animated & over analyzed it is simply too much, no return or revenge, just let it lie silent

but here in this black with my shiny coat of brown I have found a home, a life, and an inspiration

while it is a sincere desire to see the story carry on, I've been touched & changed. By a Sci-fi show? Yes. and why? Because, I still maintain that simple belief in heroes & doing the impossible. The heroes are not the ones who sit around "waiting" for the distressed. The true heroes are they who have the distress thrown upon them and still march toward a sunset, knowing that when the darkness finally passes the sun will rise.

Do not mistake my meaning, I want to see the story move on, there are adventures and moments that must be told. But sequels & action figures be damned. This story, and these characters have become a part of us, a part of my being.

Beyond my fanboy good looks, and our "hip" "cultish" status, there is something deeper. It's love & it is a frightening thing...to those who don't posess it or can't posess it. To a jaded world who have lost the sense of something greater, something worth putting yourself on the line for. This is what we have found. It's what we truly carry, It's what never fades into fad, and is never consumed when consumers find a new flavor.

This won't pass away, it is timeless, it is a part of who I am. When reality cuts me, my blood bleeds brown & independant.

Yeah, I Got it.

And the plastic dinosaur on my desktop just smiles.

From OK. Browncoat from the time the show aired on Television. In fact, my wife Fixedbyfaith & I are both quite the fans. Still preaching the shiny goodness to thems as need it told. We are very involved in the Tulsa area theatre & film community. Been to a shinding or two & the occasional con.

Designer of the original -isms series shirts till Fox shut me down. Been out of the verse a while, figured I'd swing by & see who's stirring up trouble & if they wanted any assistance in that particular endeavor.

I can only pop in on occasion as the workplace is not as favorable to surfage of the cortex as they should be. Ner the less.
