Middle of October now and it's about 42 degrees outside in the morning or late night. Got a roommate finally, Kj. Found her on Craig's List by her reply to my posted ad. She's been here only a few days but is a good person and good company. Her half of the rent is a help toward saving for a new used car.
So living conditions are much better with life in here with me. Decided I don't want to live alone if I can help it. Ever.

Firefly filled the void left when Buffy (and then Angel) disappeared. I've been a fan of Joss's 'verse ever since Day 1, episode 1's airing. Thought I couldn't be more addicted to anything than the clever writing, acting and effects on Buffy and Angel, but Firefly? Well, it was an out of body experience. Still is! Not that I mind being inside my own skin...it's pretty shiny there.
How it's changed me is, as of October of 2005 I started writing Firefly fanfiction. If you have never read anybody's fanfic at all, I urge you to go to the Blue Sun Room and just read anything that jumps out at you--it does NOT have to be mine. Fanfic is like watching a really good episode featuring all our BDHs (Big Damn Heroes) in all their muscle-flexin' glory. And if you read some NC17 fanfiction, you'll likely get an added bonus. But just read some, and you'll see what I mean.
If you read anybody's stories on this site, do us all a favor, will ya? Take a sec and leave them feedback. It's easy. Click on the button at the bottom of the story and type. Even if you do it anonymously, it'll make the Browncoat's day.
Oh! And come talk to me (and others) in chat sometime. We don't bite. Unless you WANT us to.
