You're missing the point SIG. For months some of us here have been discussing the fact that Russia had violated its treaty with the Ukraine when it seized Crimea. That it used its troops and equipment to crush the local population and military loyal to their country and opposed to Russian rule. You and 1kiki have denied any evolvement by Russia throughout despite all the evidence. You have no credibility what so ever.
AND THAT’S THE FUCKING POINT.

You should learn to do your own deconstruction of news stories.
Sorry. That's your opinion (and an Ad Hominem argument), not a fact.
Show me some objective evidence, or retract your claim.

"Show me some objective evidence ..."
What would YOU takes as 'objective evidence'? Some blog by somebody? An editorial in a mainstream paper? A claim by Obama? By Putin? A single-source news article that gets quoted, repeated and cited in 20 different msm media sources (as long as you cite more than one of them)?

There you go folks. -MAL4
And there you ago again, MAL4.
Western press simply will not tell us what's in the Russian press. They will tell us what THEY want us to think about the Russian press ...or the Syrian media, or Turkish media, or what-have-you ... but to actually just tell us what's in the foreign press?
NAH....
Instead, they offer up an opinion piece full of insinuation, lacking even the semblance of a balanced description or fact.
Yanno, LIKE YOU.
Since MAL4 is entirely incapable of rational thought, this is for the rest of you:
That's why I go to foreign press. Fortunately, I can piece together whatever is in French and Spanish. I can scan the headlines in German, at least, to see what they're talking ABOUT. Unfortunately, I have to rely on translators to tell me about the rest. But I do the best I can ... I do look at the English-language version Xinhua, and Novosti, and the Straits Times, for example. I have the Kyiv Post and the BBC on my list of sites that I scan regularly. Even if I don't have time to read the articles, it's important to know what's making it into the news ... what's being forwarded by each nation's MSM. It's a good indication of what's being covered, and -more importantly- what's NOT being covered. Seeing what's in their media is a good indication of policies to come.

Actually, since none of what you posted is true, the person's who's credibility in question is yours.
I never said that Russia wasn't involved in Crimea. What I said was that it already had a whole military base in Sevastopol, and it was therefore unlikely to require additional troops being sent in. (RUSSIA INVADES CRIMEA)
And for MONTHS I've been saying that Russia has been helping the rebels in the east and south. I've provided detailed lists of the ways in which I think Russia has been helping, some of which I have no evidence for whatsoever - for example, untraceable consumables like fuel and munitions, and military intel and strategic planning - but it makes logical sense that it's occurring.
AFA Crimea is concerned, I respect the right of any portion of any nation - like SLOVENIA, Catalonia, or the Basque region - or any nation in a supranational group - like Greece in the EU- to withdraw. I have theoretical reasons as well as humanitarian ones, the theoretical reason is that the powers of aggregation are many, but they need to be counterbalanced by the powers of dispersal.

And finally- I saw the video. It's all about the rescue of Yanukovich. There are facts in it, (Yanukovich went to Karkhiv, to Donetsk, and then was on his way to Crimea. He was rescued on-route to Crimea, and spent a few days there, but when it became clear that there was no one in Kiev to negotiate with he asked to be relocated to Russia) But aside from the teaser at the very beginning, there's nothing about the role of Russia in Crimea yet. This looks like a first episode. Thanks for the link.

Try to find facts that have been dishonestly omitted from the Lucian Kim article, which is what you suggested. Was there evidence of US involvement on the Maidan, or of a Right Sector plot to poison Crimea's water supply?
It's not personal. It's just war.

Wait... I think you're confused. I know I am! You want ME to prove points in an article that I've already deemed "one long hissy fit"? So far, the available video supports nothing of what the article talks about.

The Lucian Kim article accuses the Crimea documentary of insinuation, montage, distortion, and claiming (false) things as 'facts' without supporting evidence.
You posited that Kim's article was leaving out supporting evidence that was actually in the documentary. I invited you to watch the documentary and locate this evidence, if it exists.
A reminder of what you said, commenting around the article:
Quote:
In the film, the commander of Crimea’s “Berkut” riot police claims the United States provided Maidan protesters with information on Ukrainian crowd-control methods gleaned during a bilateral exchange program. [What was offered as evidence, if any? Training documents? Classes held?]
Russian special forces stopped an attempt by activists from Pravy Sektor, a far-right Ukrainian group, to poison the water supply of the Crimean capital Simferopol. [Any evidence offered? If there was, was the evidence scrubbed from this review?]
Commandos from the FSB, the successor agency to the KGB, politely replaced a door they had broken down while storming a Ukrainian military base in Crimea. [Was this videoed and in the documentary?]
So you already have a list of things to look for. Happy viewing.
