Russia denied instigating the revolt against Ukraine, but in a forthcoming film, Mr Putin says he ordered work on "returning Crimea to Russia" at an all-night meeting in February.

The talks were called to plan the rescue of Ukraine's deposed president.

A trailer for the documentary was shown on state-run television Sunday night though a release date has not been confirmed.

Mr Putin is seen describing the meeting, held during the night of 22 and 23 February, with the heads of Russia's special services as well as its defence ministry.

"I invited the leaders of our special services and the defence ministry to the Kremlin and set them the task of saving the life of the president of Ukraine [Viktor Yanukovych], who would simply have been liquidated," Mr Putin says.

"We finished about seven in the morning. When we were parting, I told all my colleagues, 'We are forced to begin the work to bring Crimea back into Russia'."

What ever they chose to do it will include a flat out denial they lied or mislead anyone. They will ask for cites and then twist the replies all to hell. In no time at all they will be citing the same bullshit sources they always cite and it will be more of the same for all that converse with them. It should be apparent by now to even the dimmest of the dim who read their posts here, their reality is twisted, manipulative and serves to further Putin's and their agenda while attacking in any form they can those who oppose them.

I seem to recall someone who used to post here pointing this out about theses two ladies till he decided not to bother anymore. This was before I actually joined the site. I can't remember who that was but he called it right. It appears he no longer posts here.

Many people have left this site, and most of them not because of Siggy. She used to be quite sane, if a bit pompous.

In fact, her new insanity was something she started purposely. She changed suddenly some time ago, about the time you joined maybe. I called her on it and she admitted that she was doing things "differently." Didn't give details, but I figure that, for some reason, she had to give up her old shtick of tweaking Rap's tail. She did that for years and years and years on end. Same shit every thread.

Her new thing is more fun, imho, though only in small doses. ;)

Now I remember thanks , it was Miker. I reposted one of his old posts about how you operate because, out of nowhere you started with me. I had followed your signature back to a thread you started and saw where this guy had ripped you a new asshole, and my reposting it shut you down in an instant. As I remember it, when I did you began to rant about everybody and everything and left this site in a huff swearing never to return.
