Is There Any Charactor On FireFly that annoys you?

Hey guys,

About the spelling thing. I have to say I'm pretty useless at spelling, punctuation etc.. If I'm doing something important like a CV or a report for college then I will make sure I check it first. But when you are making a large number of posts on a board in a conversation type way it's not really reasonable to expect someone to get someone to check every single message for punctuation for them.

The thing that I've always liked about this board is that it's so laid back that I've always felt I could post here without worrying about going over every post I write.

Just because I'm useless at English (and I am working on improving it) it doesn't make my opinions on other topics any less valid and if you don't like the way a poster writes just don't read their messages.

Anyway sorry for the rant. Back to the main feature.

Book's dialogue sometimes annoys me. Also Magistrate Higgins' son annoyed me quite a bit.

Other than guest stars, I enjoy all the characters of Firefly. I love Simon most especially, his loyalty and intelligence. Each has their place, and it is the interactions which really shine, the way they behave differently with different people. So many characters on other shows are sort of one note, behaving the same in all situations.

When I first watched the show I found Jayne really annoying, I thought he was a pig. But when i got the DVD's I saw a whole new side to him and now he's one of my favourite characters.
Strangely, i would have expected to find River annoying but I don't. I'm usually annoyed by irrational over-the-top-crazy characters, but I think River's really sweet. Not once has she annoyed me.

inara bugs the heck out of me sometimes. i think she gets some of the very cliche lines in the show.

you can go around being the punctuation facist.. if thats what makes your world go round..but why are you so concerned with what someone else is doing..why not just concern yourself about your own punctuation..just curious

if something bothers you that much you always have the option of not looking...

I have an appreciation for good writting myself..but this is how I post..and honestly this is how I love to post..and this is how I'm going to continue to post..

not that I have to explain anything to you..but for the rest of the posters out there I will those dashes<......> are my pauses in thought...when I,m posting I'm not thinking about grammer..like I said I'm not writting an English paper..I'm posting thoughts..Purplebelly totally seem to understand where those <.....>are coming from!!

I think my ideas come across just fine..and if they don't ....I'm not going to loose any sleep over it and I doubt seriously if anyone else will either

I always find it sad when someone has to try to look down on others to build themselves up..

I do find inara annoying too..I know she's a companion and her job is compliant but sometimes I think she is such a fake..
