I own this:
It's just awesome.
(In spite of this LAME cover...)

Like I said, The Keaton Batman was based on the "so 90s it hurts" Frank Miller take. The man can't touch anything without turning it grimdark. He writes like a high school student.

"TDK's Joker just copied Brandon Lee's Crow, but in colour"
Hello,
If you judge a book by its cover, then all the batmen were almost identical, no?
If you judge based on performance, the new Joker was startlingly different from the Crow.
ETA: from the Crow.

Chris has been given full lists of distinctions between the two performances, but to no avail. In this case at least, it really IS all about the cover.

Let's just say that I didn't like that particular Joker, okay?
Truce?

Oh, its fine for you to not like that Joker, it's just the reason you gave rang as absolutely nuts to most.
It'd be like someone saying they couldn't stand Mal because he's just a rip-off of Han Solo. Hell, I'd say the parallels between those characters are far greater, but it would still be a very surface-y critique, that ignores a great deal of shading in the actual characters and performances. And that's with two VERY similar (by design) characters. Now, apply that to your case, where the characters and performances are markedly different (except the make-up) and maybe you'll see why we find your argument so daft.
