Mmmmmmmmm last nights dinner was so good! Such yummy steak, aspargus, and loaded baked potato (I'm sure I spelled aspargus wrong..oh well) :)
wifey can cook! WOOT tho the steaks were all me...muahah. and the bernaise sauce. yum. Whenever she makes it I quote the line from History of the World Part 1: Don't get saucy with me, Bernaise!
On an unrelated note: The new Iron Maiden album (released this week) A Matter of Life and Death has some real GREAT songs on it :)

Not really into the harder stuff like Iron Maiden (maybe I'm a little too young to be part of the 80's hard rock scene, though). I did enjoy the new Bob Dylan album, although I've only listened to it once...it could be great, I just don't know yet! I'm kinda curious about the new John Mayer album coming out. His last, the John Mayer Trio album was so good, I'm hoping his new one will have a definite bluesy feel too it...bluesy...now I'm thinking about blue-cheeseburgers, thanks a lot you guys.

Ok, here's my post of the day! Hmmm....
Hell Week (TM) is proceeding apace, and, for those who don't know, it's not a week where i get lots of homework, it is the week that leads up to the opening (and closing) of a show, Charlie Brown in this case. The issue with homework is, i only have 2-3 hours awake at home on any given day, if i get what would usually be a large amount of homework, i can get sorta floored. hasnt happened yet this week tho.
I do enjoy it though. I heartily recommend this business of spending your entire days hanging out with people, it rocks. People are so cool. People being.... people who are friendly and awesome, which us theater folks be 
. Not to be confused with the other sort of 'people'. The kind who are generalized stereotyped masses who um... aint people.
Here's a funny story. In Civics, we kept talking about the importance of representetive government vs direct democracy, and my teacher has, on several different occassions, asked variations on the question "Why were the founding [ parental figures ] concerned about putting power in the hands of the people?" To effeciently counter this question, I took a pen and a spare sheet of paper, and wrote in big read letters:
"BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE STUPID!!!"
And I show my teacher this sign whenever that question pops up. So far, he's let me get away with it. Good antics fun stuff. I could have said "because people are flawed, and act only in terms of self interest" blah blah blah, but I like my sign better.
See! I'm working on that "making school and theater my life!" thing.
Oops, I need to get some biology done.

I grew up in that very environment & know exactly what you mean - there are a few of us here at FFF.net! 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown' - I have never done, but I have heard about it - probably a little more in the American psyche than the Australian, but it has been done here before - chookas Darling!

Just rub it in why don't you? With you and wifey though - it's probably a good thing that I live as far away as I do coz I am actually losing weight - if you were within range I would, no doubt, be gaining it!!

U2 Rock!! They had to cancel the end of their tour which meant thay didn't make it to 'New Melbourne' where I live - but they are coming back now that the Edge's daughter is on the mend and will be here in November. Yay!!

I find a lot of songs spark something FF in my head. I have a writing playlist, with some very odd mixes on it.

PR, thank you again. Strangely enough, the impending divorce is turning out alright. We are still living under the same roof and are quite cordial to each other...still eating together, watching movies, etc. I was hoping that we could remain friends, and it appears that may happen.

Emma- HUGS I've had a few operations(4) and though each made me nervous, it all worked out fine. Just remember to follow instructions and also to have someone there when you wake up( trust me you'll really want a drink of water instantly)HUG and is there anything we can do to help?
Nv- I know the bill feeling. Don't you remember when you were a kid and got money it was yours. You just happily spent time figuring out exactly what you wanted to buy and I always thought grow-ups could do the same only they had more money. It was so terribly disappointing to find that with paychecks come bills.
hmmm I don't really think a gender holds the "forgive and forget" gene. I really think it depends on the person. For me, unless you've repeatedly done something truly horrible, I'm pretty much a let it go kind of person. I always assume the person didn't mean to hurt me, unless I have ample evidence to the contrary....that said, rough patches suck!

Emma, I've recently been faced with surgery and it kind of freaks me out. When I initially broke my arm, they put surgery off b/c they didn't want to mess up my shoulder: They thought it would heal fine on its own. Well, it didn't, so every six weeks surgery was brought up. Now, 11 months later, I wish we had just done it in the first place. I would've healed faster and probably had less lasting effects. Without surgery, I have a frozen shoulder, I am still looking at many more months of physical therapy, cortisone injections and quite possibly, surgery. Blech!

I agree. I think it's individual based. Sadly, I am one to hold grudges. You only get a few chances with me. Hurt me too often and it's over, with no going back.

HUgs rugbug I know shoulder injurys can be really tricky and painful. Our neighbor had one and it wasn't healing and it turned out there was an infection in the muscle tisue and it ended up being quite a deal to fix with multiple surgeries... so hang in there gorgeous and eat lots of dark chocolate while you hunt for your soulmate...hey see then you could have someone to take care of you and all:)
