What I'm sure that Warren and AOC don't realize (or refuse to recognize) from their position is that the people feel just as equally strong about being fucked by their government everyday as the feel about getting fucked by their insurance everyday.
Don't forget what happened to Trump twice already this year. And I would fully expect to see similar incidents pop up against politicians from both sides of the aisle going forward as the economic situation in America continues to worsen, unless somebody is actually able to fix things and make them work right again. We just watched everyone in the media cry about cancer research taken out of the omnibus bill, but nobody in the media had a single problem with the house and senate making sure that their own obscene yearly raise was stuffed in the small package they ended up passing.
I would consider this warning to have a much wider umbrella than just the healthcare industry, and I would be a fool not to believe heed that warning if I were a politician.
To most of us, this is just one less obscenely wealthy dude attending Bohemian Grove next year.
So if anybody has a problem with any celebrating being done here (by mostly young left voting people), just wait until something happens to Nancy Pelosi and watch the positive reaction from people who voted both for Trump and for Harris. I'm not even talking about somebody using a pew pew on her either. Bitch fell down and shattered her hip just last month. She could go at any minute. Tick Tock.

Funny you mention that it might swing read like Texas though. I just made that prediction in another thread earlier today. Kind of jokingly, but maybe not. I don't see any way out for Democrats on this one.
My one prediction? This just destroyed Gavin Newsom's political career. It will be a lot more than just L.A.'s idiot DEI mayor who pays the price this time. They can't just scapegoat this away like they did when they fired the FEMA woman who was ordering her people to deny assistance to any house with a Trump sign.
If Newsom were to try running in 4 years for President, all of the opposition's ads are already made for them.
Also, this is going to set-back any "environmentalism" push from the left for the next 20 years.
Why? Because it's not just us poor people getting fucked this time. These are huge amounts of multi-million dollar houses and neighborhoods that are being eradicated.
And most of them would still have houses if they didn't vote "progressive" and allow people to destroy the infrastructure to save a fish.
