NYT said at 12:15 AM CST: While it might be several hours until the race can be called, our estimates say Donald Trump is very likely to win the presidency. Kamala Harris almost certainly needs to win Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, and Trump is a clear favorite in each.
Trump has currently expanded his popular vote lead to over 5 Million, but there is still 10% of New York and Illinois to count, 25% of Colorado, 33% of Washington and Oregon and 55% of California to count, so that will tighten by quite a bit this late in the night.
But I've done the math and they don't have enough incoming votes for Harris that won't be offset by Trump votes to give her a Popular Vote win. It's all but an impossibility at this point. I feel very comfortable with that +1 Million prediction as 12:45 AM CST on Wednesday.

I see that Arizona and Nevada are going to be iffy, just like I thought they could be.
Who knows what's happening in Michigan right now and why it hasn't been called along with Wisconsin yet. Once Michigan is called for Trump, in the very likely event he wins it, it looks like my prediction was spot on no matter whether Trump loses or wins Arizona and Nevada.
As for the popular vote, Trump is still up 71,062,799 votes to 66,146,831.
She's made a bit of headway now, but that's still a really tall climb up there when you're only leading California by 18% with 53% of the vote counted and you're only leading Washington by 20% with 64% of the vote in.
1 Million+ is nothing short of a certainty right now. The only question is how much more than that will he win by?
ETA: They're really going to slow-walk the rest of these counts in the swing states even though the race is called. It might be up to two weeks before we get the final popular vote number they certify.

I don't know if that's a good idea in a great economy. I'm glad that Trump won and we can stop the bleeding, but unless you've got a magic wand that can fix the economy by mid-summer, you can probably forget about this event making a huge splash for more than about a weekend.

It's a point that "left wingers" seem to forget. They think that as long as they espouse "virtuous" causes...R2P, "freedom", "antifa", "saving the world", or what have you .. it excuses any destructive or abusive behavior.
