For example: Don’t believe the hype. Ukraine can’t win this war by Scott Ritter.

t-win-this-war
Ritter argues that Ukraine’s objectives in this war are unachievable, whereas Russia’s can be met through a negotiated settlement. While the war rages on and attempts to sanction Russia continue to backfire, more damage is being done to the people of Europe and Ukraine than to Russia. Ultimately, what must come out of this conflict is an admission from Europe that NATO is an anachronism and a new security paradigm is needed to promote international peace and cooperation. This interview was recorded Nov. 4, 2022.
Signym, if you read the whole interview, Scott Ritter sounds very persuasive. I thought I should check into who this guy is. He was convicted of sex crimes. In October 2011, he received a sentence of 1½ to 5½ years in prison. He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.
What else? Ritter rejects the Western media's coverage of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Scott Ritter writes various NATO-critical articles for the Russian channel RT (formerly Russia Today).

Signym, Scott Ritter thinks the same as you. You should start quoting him.
Ritter thinks he was wrongly imprisoned: "Ritter contends the PCRA court abused its discretion when it failed to consider newly discovered evidence that would have precluded the Commonwealth from presenting evidence of Ritter's prior arrests for similar crimes in New York state."

How Russia depicts its fight in Ukraine
These men are actors. Their bullets are blanks. But in propaganda warfare, they are true warriors and in Russia, there is no doubt they are winning.
See how the Kremlin depicts its fight in Ukraine and you will understand why no amount of battlefield setbacks will dramatically alter the way people perceive the "special military operation".
“This is what we saw with our own eyes. This is what we went through, what my friends and comrades went through. This is pure truth.” (Translated into English: None of this happened. It is all fake. You are suckers to believe us.)
“Today we heard the words of Saint Alexander Nevsky: 'Whoever has truth on their side, God is with them.' God is with us. This is a great fight that we must endure with the help of God.“
The loss of Kherson is spun as unfortunate but necessary, sold as a chance to regroup to a people used to groupthink.

Former astronaut Scott Kelly spent 340 days on the International Space Station with NASA as part of a program run in collaboration with Russia's space agency Roscosmos.
But the former astronaut added "Russia troll" to his space voyaging resume after Putin sent troops into Ukraine, battling on Twitter with former Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin. Kelly joked that McDonald's was hiring when Rogozin was fired by Putin in July.
In a call with Volodymyr Zelensky, Kelly said Ukraine's president told him he had "trolled Russian propagandists into oblivion."
But he also directed his anger at Russians more generally who endorse a message that Russia is defending itself from Ukrainian "Nazis".
"Some Russians that I know feel like I do about this. Like, this is immoral. This is illegal. This is horrific. They have guilt over it, because it's their country doing it," Kelly told Insider.
But he said others, including a former Russian colleague on the space station, believed Russia was only defending itself.
"How you can come to that conclusion when your army invaded another country is beyond my comprehension, and is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. But these are people that I thought were smart. I thought they were empathetic, but they actually seem to believe this."
"And the only conclusion I can come to is that they've just been conditioned. And brainwashed over decades through their state-controlled media to believe certain things."

Could Ukraine Retake Crimea? Dug-in Russian forces mean a long and difficult effort.
by Patrick Tucker, Caitlin M. Kenney and Elizabeth Howe | November 17, 2022
Ben Hodges, a retired lieutenant general who commanded of U.S. Army Europe, said he had recently met with members of the Ukrainian military’s general staff and came away greatly impressed by their plans for a methodical approach to retaking Crimea.
“This will be terrible for [the Russians]. And it's wide open steppes and crappy weather and even relatively easy for the Ukrainians to hit them—but more importantly, to hit the logistics that are in that area,” Hodges said.
He said Ukraine would likely make further attempts to destroy the Russian bridge over the Kerch Strait, which was partially destroyed in October. They’ll also be able to attack Russian resupply lines along the southern portion of the country. He said that the Ukrainians would be in position to make those attempts in January and, perhaps, to liberate Crimea by the summer.
“I'm optimistic. I mean, think of Crimea almost as a trap” for Russia, he said.
But Hodges cautioned that Ukraine’s chances for success would be improved by longer-range missiles such as ATACMS, which can hit targets out to 300 kilometers.
“I mean, they could get Sevastopol from Odesa,” he said, and start “immediately if they had that capability.”
Despite many reassuring statements in support of Ukraine, U.S. officials have signaled no interest in giving Ukraine weapons of that range.

Ukrainian nuclear power plant Zaporizhzhia may be world’s most dangerous place now | 60 Minutes
More than a dozen explosions rattled Europe's largest nuclear power plant over the weekend, as renewed shelling around the Ukrainian facility rekindled fears of a possible accident — or even a deliberate strike — that could cause a catastrophic release of radiation.
The angle and direction from which the shells came indicated they were fired from Russian military positions, not Ukrainian forces on the other side of the nearby front lines. The worker, who CBS News cannot identify due to the threat that he and his colleagues have worked under since Russia seized the plant early in its war on Ukraine, said he believed Russian forces had also detonated an explosive inside the facility.

NEXTA @nexta_tv tweeted
The occupiers mined almost every office in the building of the Security Service of Ukraine in #Kherson.
An ML7 mine was found under a printer in one of the offices.
The Operational Command "South" noted that many of the finds "refer to non-removable devices." (Those "non-removable devices" are booby-traps that will be detonated where found, which will destroy that part of the building.)

NY Times Takes Rare Look At Apparent Ukrainian War Crimes
Monday, Nov 21, 2022 - 06:20 PM
The New York Times has in an extremely rare moment (or perhaps more like unprecedented) conducted an in-depth visual investigation of a likely war crime against surrendered Russian troops conducted by Ukrainian forces. Multiple videos from different angles, including drone footage, emerged last week showing the incredibly disturbing scenes as Ukrainian forces were recapturing the village of Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
The videos show ten apparently unarmed Russian soldiers lying facedown on the ground, who early on are seen moving and in a position of surrender as at least four Ukrainian troops stand nearby outside of a house in a farmyard.
By the end of the footage, eleven Russians had been shot dead at close range, in what Russia says was a summary execution of people who at that point (based on their surrender) effectively become non-combatants based on accepted international laws of war.
Via AP: Investigators in Makiivka, where the shooting in the video allegedly took place.
Surprisingly, the videos were initially made public by Ukrainian news sources and soldiers themselves, and were shared widely on social media, as they purportedly showed the 'heroism' of Ukrainian soldiers as they clawed back territory in eastern Ukraine.
...
*One soldier, with his rifle drawn, tentatively approaches the structure where the Russian soldiers are sheltering. The soldier with the machine gun provides cover. Several gunshots are heard — though it’s not clear from where — and the soldier slowly backs away from an outhouse, drawing out the Russian soldiers at gunpoint.*
The report comments that soon after the Russian soldiers emerge from the building, it is clear that an orderly surrender has taken place, with many of the prone Russian solders moving around on the ground after giving up their arms, clearly alive.
But soon after the entire scene turns to carnage:
* Two of the Ukrainians standing by appear to be relaxed and are pointing their rifles toward the ground...
As an 11th Russian soldier emerges from the outhouse, he opens fire, aiming at one of the Ukrainian soldiers. The Ukrainians are taken by surprise. The cellphone camera jolts away as the Ukrainian soldier filming the scene flinches. A frame-by-frame analysis of what happens next shows the Ukrainian soldier standing beside him raise his rifle and aim toward the Russian gunman.
...
The video ends and it’s unclear what happens next. But a second aerial video of the location shows the bloody aftermath," the NYT writes. "The Russian soldiers are lying motionless, apparently dead, most of them positioned as they were when they surrendered. Blood is pooling around them, and some appear to be bleeding from the upper body or head. The soldiers are dressed in the same uniforms with the distinctive red straps and blue marking."*
