Cap'n Crunch coming in here 6 years ago and boldly declaring the ridiculous statement that Seattle has figured out how to end the war on drugs by simply just letting everyone get fucked anywhere at any time in front of everyone and no punishment would be doled out for any of this public depravity.

Even I said I hope it works out well for them, but I knew it wouldn't. Prison in America is designed to turn you into a prison lifer. If your life wasn't ruined by the time you got into prison, it was going to be ruined once you were put there. It's just another big corrupt business. There is no reason to be putting people in prison for having an ounce of weed in their pocket, but you can't have fucking heroin and meth junkies getting high and passing out in the streets in a puddle of their own filth. That is not a solution.
I guess the article headline wasn't technically lying though. You do end the war if you raise the white flag and let everything get ten times worse. Good job. Well done, Seattle.
