We have never talked, Signym. You are a Russian Orthodox Troll and I am not. I'm in Baytown, Texas and you don't exist in California or else are the strangest, nuttiest Californian ever.

The share of Houstonians who believe that the Bible is the actual word of God dropped to its lowest point in nearly 40 years, according to a new survey.

The data by Rice University’s Kinder Institute found that only about 28 percent of Houstonians described the Bible as being the literal word of God. It marked the lowest share since Rice researchers first asked the question in 1982, and a precipitous drop since 2011, when roughly 42 percent of respondents said the same.

Meanwhile, the share of Houstonians who believe the Bible is God’s “inspired word” hit its second-highest rate over the last two decades, with slightly more than half of respondents agreeing.

Half of Houston does not want to admit the Bible is 100% human-inspired word because then "God" is a 100% human-inspired word in the same manner as "Superman" and "Harry Potter". Obviously, God could send an angel to clarify that God is real, not a literary or psychological construct. I will be watching the news for God's Chariot.

You wouldn't know a Russian Orthodox if you fucked one. Meanwhile I count myself as an agnostic: I don't know, can't be proved.

Why do you show me as having posted a link to Ezekiel? That was YOUR post.

And what does that have to do with Covid or proof of god or ... anything? ru terminally confused?

Questions for the Russian Orthodox Trolls:

What is God's motivation for being incommunicado for 1,900 years? You can speculate.
What happened to the angels/cherubs? Where did they fly off to?
Why no new prophets for 1,900 years? Joseph Smith, author of The Book of Mormon, doesn't count.
Why no new books added to the Bible for 1,900 years?
Did God quit the Church without leaving a resignation letter?

Since God has been silent and AWOL for approximately 1,900 years, there have been millions of self-selected, overly-articulate people who have been writing books about what God wants and thinks. 1kiki and Signym, feel free to follow the example of those people taking the role that Honest-to-God prophets are suppose to fulfill.

Did Joseph Smith plagiarize the Book of Mormon? Yes, he did, which means he is not a prophet.

Thanks for proving my point.

And I see that since your minions are no longer treading in those waters, you have to keep up the campaign all by yourself. That plan worked out well - didn't it? I also see that you think inserting 'Orthodox' is some dodge.

SO KEEP 'EM COMING! Make it absolutely clear to everyone that you're mentally and morally corrupted beyond any hope.

1kiki, it doesn't work the way you think it does for me. Natural gas prices change my income only moderately, but it does open up possibilities to buy properties at steep discounts from Republican run business bankruptcies, the guys who think God Is Watching Over Them. What I really crave is a stock market crash that feels like the end-of-the-world/Armageddon to retail investors.

I still say blessings: "God is Great. God is Good. Let us thank Him for our Food. By His Hands must all be fed. Give us Lord our daily bread. Amen." That is not inconsistent with questioning why God has not appointed any new prophets for 1,900 years. Why has God let the world deteriorate to the point where the existence of God is in question? Only God knows, and He is not explaining through new prophets.
