! There will always be a certain portion of the population where a respirator just isn't going to work. Either because they have an out-of-the-norm face and/ or nose shape, or because they don't don it, fit it, and test it properly. For them the respirators will act like a procedure mask. But for those people who wear a respirator correctly, it'll add an extra margin of protection. And population-wide, over time, that adds up.ETA - and respirators (plus hand sanitizers) are literally the least intrusive, fastest, cheapest, and easiest thing to do. What's not to like about that?
