The article that you linked had a fatal flaw ... it merely looked at the jobs at the beginning of a tenure versus the jobs at the end, without reference to what part of a "business cycle" these endpoints were at. Even that article ... the one that YOU linked ... qualified their data about that. It said, in part

And so far, I don't see anything for them - or you- to crow about.

Obviously, Signym, you are going to be stubborn. You are going to want more data before deciding if there really is a difference between a D President and a R President. There will never be enough data to force you to chose one side or the other because you want a third way, one that does not exist because the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution with no place for a third way. They didn't know it immediately, but by 1800 it was obvious they had created the two party system. Not three. Not four. Two.

Just looking only at the economic data, neither an R or D President will ever pop out as one being vastly better than the other because the people who really run America the way they want it to be run, the 1 Percenters, don't change when the White House changes between parties. There is not an R team of 1 Percenters and a D team of 1 Percenters and one team leaves the field and the other team takes control when the White House changes from R to D. Everything will stay the same, economically, if the 1 Percenters stay the same people and if the Federal Government does not go to war against the 1 Percenters. War has happened! The change over from an R President to a D President in 1933 caused a War between the Feds and malefactors of great wealth. But it took a World War to make the biggest difference in America's distribution of wealth.

Let's pick one thing as an example of how D Presidents and R Presidents are different in how they treat the 1 Percenters. R Presidents deny that there is a greenhouse gas effect, that carbon dioxide and methane cause global warming, and that 1 Percenters who are coal mine owners need to sell less coal. D Presidents are the opposite.
Another example: R Presidents always want lower taxes on the wealthy 1 Percenters. A D President would never have signed Trump's tax bill.

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker walked away from his meeting with President Donald Trump on Wednesday with a freshly won trade detente, and he may have had flash cards to thank.
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that Juncker came to the meeting in Washington well-prepared, with “more than a dozen colorful cue cards with simplified explainers,” such as numbers and factoids about complex topics such as automotive trade. Each easy-to-read card had, at most, three figures, a senior European Union official told the Journal.
“We knew this wasn’t an academic seminar. It had to be very simple.”

By the end of their three-hour meeting, Juncker and Trump had agreed not to impose any further tariffs and to work toward “zero tariffs.”
Juncker said later that he wanted to persuade Trump that a tit-for-tat trade war was not a smart move and would only end up hurting both sides.
But, “If you want to be stupid,” he told Trump, according to the Journal. “I can be stupid, as well.”
Turns out, Juncker can be pretty smart too. He was apparently following the example of top White House officials, who have learned to deliver Trump’s daily intelligence briefing in short bullet-points loaded with maps, charts and “killer graphics,” according to a Washington Post report last year.

We voted for him, in other words, because we want to be him, or at least to believe the version of him we saw on “The Apprentice.”
Interviews with the subjects, now 40-ish, of “Fast Forward,” paired with shots from the book of their former, less introspective adolescent selves, also add useful substance and poignant wisdom. Florian Homm, the wealthy German former hedge fund manager who went on the lam in 2007 after being charged with investment fraud by the U.S. government, appears in interviews, too. Homm comes across as unchastened, but at least more cautious about the empty promises of prosperity. “If you think that money will buy you anything and everything,” he says, “you’ve never, ever had money.”
Greenfield, for the most part, wisely leaves the preaching to others. If “Generation Wealth” has a message that empty acquisitiveness is bad, it delivers it, like the rest of her work, by showing, not telling.

Reagan’s Son: Trump’s Base Would Pick Putin Over Any Democrat As U.S. President
The son of former President Ronald Reagan believes Donald Trump’s political base is so consumed by hatred for the Democrats that they would vote for Vladimir Putin to be America’s president instead of virtually any member of that party.
“They really aren’t in touch with reality. The most important thing to them [is that Trump] seems to hate the same people that they hate,” Ron Reagan told Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Thursday. “That’s the real Trump derangement syndrome.”
On the other hand, they like the people Trump likes, Reagan said. Russian President Putin’s popularity is rising, he noted.
“If it was left just up to Trump’s base, they would elect Vladimir Putin as president of the United States over virtually anybody with a D after their name,” he added. “If Trump seems to love Putin, they’ll love Putin, too.”
