Stan Rogers' ballad "Barrett's Privateers" is one of my favourite sailor songs, and I'm so enamoured of it that it has spawned this BDM-heavy filk. Props to you if you know this tune, and even if you don't, enjoy!

And really, like someone else said, a lovely job of fitting it - and you followed so closely to to original.
Who's POV is it supposed to be? I was a little confused about that as well, but ultimately, it doesn't really matter, because the song really is quite brilliant.
