I forgot to offer my thanks to Gilliebeans over at LJ for all her help and Firefly friendship. If anyone is looking for some fantastic pre-series M/I stories, she is the one to read.

liked the details such as - 2514 silver Wagster Transport Unit. - and when Mal was walking around i could visualise it clearly:) and the dialogue was nice - considering the exposition you had to weave through, no mean feat! character comes first for you - i like that:)

Love it! You're a damn good writer and so is gilliebeans... it's true what you said about her M/I stories, I love them (as no one knows that I'm a die hard M/I shipper by now) anyhow, I'd hate to see this series end...well done! I hope we see more of you soon *grins*

Keep flying ;)

Beautiful piece of writing here. Your exploration into Mal's depths was very revealing. The clarification that what was healing his soul was Serenity up and running was helpful, as the transformation to his attitude after Miranda couldn't happen that fast. A really wonderful piece of work - looking forward to the return of Jayne in part 8!

Oh, lordy, I return to find this brilliant piece of writing. When I left things were looking fairly dismal around here, as far as fanfic. Marysues and pairings that were giving me the willies.

Anyway, Sunny continues to be a wonderful OC and Mal getting the repair money for Serenity has been an interesting read. I can't wait to read the confrontation between Mal and Inara, Jayne’s return from jail, and Zoë’s resolution to stay.

And, please convince gilliebeans to post here. She is one talented writer.

This was a wonderful story, just what I'd expect if the series had continues after Miranda. The characters and mood were right on target. Thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us! I look forward to the next chapter, even if it is the last. Do you plan to continue this as a series? Because I definitely wouldn't complain if you did ;)

Just read the whole series up till this point and loved every bit of it. It was a great adventure, with great writing. I can't wait for the next chapter.
