BLUE SUN Edition now available for all

Friday, September 3, 2004

Finally the wait is over and I am happy to share with you guys the much anticipated BLUE SUN Edition. It is now ready for download off my website here ---> http://www.MeChristopherRobin.com
Remember people this is for WindowsXP Home with Service pack 1 and WindowsXP Professional with Service pack 1 only.
If you have WinXP Student version, or a WinXP version made for a country other than the US these boot screens will not work for you! Email me here ---> MeChristopherRobin@Yahoo.com and I will see about getting you a set of files that will work for your version of Windows XP. Also remember this has not yet been tested with Service Pack2.
Read all the instructions (which are included with the file) and enjoy Blue Sun, you know you want to. ;)

Poor Mac users, we're always left out...

Hey, you should see how hard it is to do the same thing for Win2000... I'm not even going to risk it!

Well it is fitting. Seeing as how Blue Sun is evil. Microsoft is evil. Good correlation.

Willowy, why would you want Blue Sun XP, when you have the superior BrownCoat Mac OS running your computer.

Britchick/Hazel: Your welcome glad you like it.
Willowy: Sorry I'd love to help if i knew how but i build my own pc's and Mr. Jobs won't let you build a Mac so i never tried one.
RelFexive: Email me and i might be able to make one for you.
Filmgoddess: Yes several others here most notably TCM pointed the correlation out to me and gave me this idea.
Anonymous: What is the "superior BrownCoat Mac OS" some sort of theme?

ChristopherRobin,

Terribly sorry for the enormous delay in responsage. If you're still interesting in the whole tech-supporty details, than I will loyally divulge all data on my computers erroneous behaviour as regards to your startup. If not, my bad for waiting.

Regardless, those are awesome peices of art - Bravo

Daedalus,
Yes i'm still interested in the whole tech-supporty details. :)
You have an Dell XPS if memmory serves, correct?

Also do you have Service pack 2 yet?
Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties" and it will say under "System" either Service pack 1 or 2 and let me know what it says. Then if you want me to make you a custom one send a copy of your kernel file (i'll email you the directions for finding it) to me here ---> MeChristopherRobin@yahoo.com

I've got SP2, would you like me to test-drive it for you?

Remember: It changes the ntoskrnl.exe file - when you need install a service pack, the pack won't change an unknown file - which means it won't be updated which may mean you will have problems in the future.
So before updating you should restore the old file and wait for a new one.

You can also try to make your own with this:

Besure to read the docs though, if you screw it up you might not be able to boot.

If you can live without the animated progress bar, there is a way to have a boot picture without editing any exe files (just an ini file)
