I forgot to mention that when Bush was governor of Texas, he was already a liar and that he would destroy his Texas National Guard service records using his power as governor. It was no surprise he would lie about Iraq's non-existing WMDs. It was definitely no surprise that when he was warned about the possibility of a 9/11 attack he would say, “All right, you’ve covered your ass now” and then he did nothing because he is fundamentally good-for-nothing. The next GOP President would be lazier and more dishonest, making Bush look good in comparison, but both Bush and Trump were climate change deniers while in the White House.

btw, I sort-of agree with shf - I think we're probably toast. And a long time ago I said my goodbyes to the wonderful earth I used to know. Even if we survive, nothing is going to be as beautiful and generous as it was. Or as Monbiot said, 'goodbye kind earth'.
I just am extremely irritated by our resident idiots who think that Trump caused the entire global warming problem all by himself in just the last 2 years. REALLY? What kind of an idiotic nutcase do you have to be to think that?
Unless you understand that the entire political structure - that's BOTH parties, in case anyone is wondering - is shackled to our current economic structure and its elite - nothing is going to get fixed. Changing the face of the figurehead will accomplish zero.
