This lawsuit needs to be successful in the name of journalistic integrity.
That story was presented by NYT, WaPo, CNN and others as FACT.
But afterward everybody wants to claim that it was just "opinions" to avoid legal repercussions for not fact checking and/or getting caught straight up lying for an agenda?
Well... What the fuck then? That means that every single piece of news that we read from any source is nothing more than an opinion piece.
It's in the best interests of every American that these court cases are won, and that the Legacy Media organizations are hit HARD with penalties over this. Otherwise the precedent is being set for Media to have a clear path to lie about everything under the sun without any worries of fallout from that choice.

In the meantime, since we know by now (or SHOULD know by now) that even august agencies like the OPCW lie, not to mention our very own deep state, politicians, M$M, and corporate advertising, I suppose it's up to US to do our own "due diligence" and be able to evaluate all claims objectively.
I know that's not possible for some, because even when the hours-long video of this event became available and the truth of what happened became clear, SOME people just couldn't let go of the fake narrative. But MOST of us should be able to clear out the lies and accept the truth.
