There were many Trump voters blaming Obama, when I know their problems are caused completely by themselves. They never understood that they need to fix themselves or at least stop making excruciatingly stupid mistakes; you know the kind: cheat on your wife or embezzle from your employer or drive drunk or buy what you can't pay for or a thousand other idiotic things Republicans are prone to do, then pray for the Lord's forgiveness on Sunday. I'm the only one who's been honest about my past here. We have no clue what your actual financial situation is, nor does anybody really care.

I'm not in semi-poverty, btw. I'm one of a very small percentage of people in the country who own their house free and clear and don't have a mortgage or need to pay rent. Because of this, though my yearly income falls below poverty thresholds, my lack of financial obligations puts me in the same boat that a single person making more than double my yearly income is in.

The only reason things are as tight for me as they are now is because even though I have access to a ton of credit, unlike the guy making $30-35k per year with a mortgage, I refuse to put anything on credit that I can't pay off at the end of the month.

At the end of the day my financial situation, no matter how good or bad one could argue it is, has no bearing on how ridiculous you sound every time you post here.

West Virginia tops the state list with the highest percentage of free and clear homeowners (45%) followed by Louisiana (39%) and Arkansas (38%). The poorer the state, the more likely the mortgage has been paid-off. There is a strong connection between being a Trump voter with a low income and having primitive ideas about money, credit cards, and mortgages. 6ixStringJack, I haven't got the time or interest to straighten out your hillbilly/white-trash ideas. But I will give you a clue: those ideas are why you are poor.

“[Deconstruction] promulgated an extreme relativism that was ultimately nihilistic in its implications: anything could mean anything; an author’s intent did not matter, could not in fact be discerned; there was no such thing as an obvious or common-sense reading, because everything had an infinitude of meanings,” writes Kakutani. “In short there was no such thing as truth.”

The Death of Truth is not a heartening read, but it’s part of a group of works by dogged, reason-wielding intellectuals that necessarily remind us not give in to apathy, or be seduced by the normalization of lies.

Indictment of Russian officers puts pressure on Trump at Putin summit
