Yet, here we are. Has anything been done yet? Has Trump even started his domestic job agenda? Has he appointed anyone to run that? What about the Republican-controlled houses? Have they even talked about a jobs agenda? The shoe is on the other foot now, isn't it?

Really, I'm not in the business of making any excuses for politicians. Never has playing the Devil's Advocate put me in the position of actually supporting one before, so this is all new to me.

That being said, where do you suppose you would find the time to focus on anything important if you were Trump? The MSM has not allowed him one single day to do his actual job since he took the office.

Now, even if the US economy continues improving—as most expect—it doesn’t mean that labor-force participation will rebound. Rather, it’s likely to keep declining for at least the next 10 years, as the baby-boomers continue to age out of the workforce.

Labor economists generally agree that waves of retiring Baby Boomers explain part (but not all) of the decline, which has been especially steep for men in their prime working years.
Speaking of GEEBERS' lies -

I've posted this before, so I guess he doesn't let facts get in the way of a lie he likes a lot.

I'm not seeing a lot of older people retiring out of the laborforce. How about you, GEEBERS? Do you agree?

And his 'source'? Quartz Media goes on my list of propaganda sites, since its article doesn't survive the simplest google search.

You guys need to get a clue. Democrats LOST THE WHITE HOUSE. Republicans STILL CONTROL Congress, and GAINED two governorships in 2016. And democrats have LOST EVERY SINGLE SPECIAL ELECTION in 2017.

DOODS - what you're doing IS NOT working! And every single post of yours indicates that you STILL, do NOT have a clue.

Despite a 7 to 1 spending advantage - A DEMOCRAT LOST. Maybe that should give you pause to consider how that could possibly happen.

Still downhill from 2016.

We already knew the Democrat was going to lose. The Koch brothers got involved.
There is literally no election they can't buy.
Since Citizens United, our government is for sale to the highest bidder, and no one bids higher than the Kochs.

Now here's RF COMPLETELY blowing past a vital fact - democrats outspent republicans 7 to 1 in this race. Apparently, only republican money is good enough to buy elections.

The people voting for Republicanism know their place in the hierarchy and they bitterly resent that Democrats don't know or stay in their proper place in Texas. That is probably too cryptic. Real life examples that I've seen many times in Texas: "Why does that nigger Obama think he can tell me what to do?" or "Those goddamn stuck-up professors don't know how things are done in Texas." or "A woman will never be President of me!" That resentment toward Democrats will not ever go away even if Democrats run different campaigns with enticing promises.
Did I forget to mention that Texas Republicans hate the idea of government spending money on poor people? Even poor Republicans hate that idea, except when the money is spent on them, because nobody but them deserves help, certainly not niggers or mexicans. "Hand up, no hand outs" is their motto. Democratic politicians wouldn't be Democrats if they hated poor people as much as Republican voters do.

Hispanics (of any race) were 37.6% of the population of the state, 11.8% African American; 3.8%, Asian American; 0.7%, American Indian; 0.1%, native Hawaiian or Pacific islander only; 10.5% of the population were of some other race only; and 2.7% were of two ... that adds up to 32.8% Anglos. And half of them are women. Are you telling me Texas keeps electing republicans to cater to those 16.9% Anglo males?

So, all you whiners - you liars - you refugees from reality -

Here's the hard truth. The democrats outspent the republicans 7 to 1 and STILL could not buy an election.

Do you have the notion by now that what democrats are offering is poison? That people won't go for it no matter how much advertising there is? Do you think that just maybe the democrats need to change course?

A couple of weeks before the election, it was reported that Jon was 7pts up on Karen. The ads only picked up. Every radio, t.v. channel... freaking almost non stop. I got a knock on my door, 2 nice looking, well dressed kids, but clearly pimping for Ossoff. I politely told them no thank you...

Even before the vulgar anti-Handel flyers showing up in yards or over a dozen letters filled with threats and white powder ( baking soda ) , there was something that just got folks motivated to come out and say 'enough!'.

I said before the election, if the Democrats lost, it would be close and they'd declare victory.

It wasn't that close. Handel won by 5-6 %, and sure enough... VICTORY! was declared by the Dems.

Unbelievable. Yet not, because they're so predictable.

I heard something different:

That Handel's little group did the "dirty tricks" and passed it off as Osoff's people did it. You know, the flyers, powder, etc. Typical campaign trickery.

As far as the money is concerned; you're damn straight the Dems spent gobs of money, he was in the Lion's den there Rappy. The Dems had to pull the Full Monty to get any attention in the Republicans stronghold. TV ad time is expensive, and they had to get the word out because it was an important seat. You guys make it seem as though all the money in the world was spent while children are dying in Africa. Now, if they don't spend shit you and all your little buddies would be screaming bloody murder that the Dems are cheapskates. It's the old story - damned if you do, or damned if you don't.

Oh and the winning margin was more like 4 points there Rappy:

Karen Handel
Republican
134,595
51.9%

Jon Ossoff
Democrat
124,893
48.1

100% reporting (208 of 208 precincts) Basically 52% to 48%, 4 lousy points.

No victory was declared, but claims of a "moral" victory was reported. Trump won in that district by some 20 points over Hilary (according to election results from 2016, you do remember Trump won, don't you?). Plus the fact that Georgia, and in particular District 6 is a red state.

Well, Handel was shitting a fucking brick because Ossoff was making a whole lot of "noise" raising campaign funds in record numbers, and just generally making a pest of himself. So much so that it prompted Handel and her cronies into "purging" the voter rolls by claiming voter fraud. A voter registration movement by Dems for Ossoff produced 86,000 registered voters, of which Handel had 40,000 purged from the voter rolls. Sneaky fucking bitch!

But, not to worry. Handel showed her ass and now the Dems will be prepared for what to expect come 2018. Oh yeah, she was nervous alright. Used all the Repubs dirty tricks from the GOP manual, but it's all gonna come crashing down - House of Cards.
Imagine going from 20-some odd points in November to just a 4-point victory in June, not more than 7 months later. Oh yeah, Trump sure did make America great again. Thank you Mr. D.J. Trump!

WAKE UP YOU SLEEPY MOTHERFUCKERS, IT IS WE THE PEOPLE!!!
