Tested the BP 3 times again today. All three were under 120/80. :)
For my 6th day, I was really rockin' it this week. Had a whole bunch of extra stuff pulled down so I could get my extra hour in while everybody punched an hour before me. Even my team lead left 30 minutes before me. He was worried that he'd have to come back and help me out to get me out the door when he left, but when he told the day shift manager who I've barely ever spoke to that I was working till 6, she said "oh yeah. Jack usually works late" and it wasn't a problem. I thought that was pretty cool since I didn't even know she knew what my name was and we've only said hi in passing before.
As for the diet, I think I've got my rice covered for the foreseeable future now. For some strange reason, there are no good deals on brown rice where I work. I had to order a 42lb, 6 gallon bucket of the stuff for 67 bucks online. Left unopened, it's supposedly good for 20 years, but once you open it they say it's good for a year in the right storage conditions. Should be good on rice for at least a year now, and it will be a lot better for me and tastier now that it's brown instead of the boring white filler. 
Ton's and tons and tons of energy these days. I seriously cannot recommend a gluten free diet enough. :)
But man, I'm sore right now. I think I'm going to go sleep for about 16 hours today. It's nice though... it's all the right kind of endorphin creating pain, with none of the bad pains.
Looks like storms are coming, so I'm not going to be able to mow the lawn for a day or two now anyhow.

So earlier today out of curiosity I went to the CalFire website and totaled up the acres burned in California to date (just looking at fires over 2,000 acres). It was over 550,000 acres. That's a lot of acres.
When I left work, there was a new purple-brown cloud in the sky, this time coming from the east. As of 8 hours ago it was a 4,000 acre fire in OC and raging out of control. And during the day the Mendocino fire grew from 273,664 acres this AM to 283,000 acres by the evening.
My current rough estimate is now 564,000 acres burned, up from earlier in the day.
There are 16 major wildfires in California today.

My cousin also said the one thing about the family in Scotland that always worried me when I heard that my dad met some of them during WWII. They didn't want to accept her as blood kin. She had to figure out and tell them how we were related to them.
