I didn't think so either. Sure there aren't any holes going under the wall that it might have dug to get in?

As I think about it, Brenda has a good question. You would not believe the tiny places critters can squeeze under or through!

Yeah... you might want to do a perimeter check and see if it got in some other way.
Skunks can climb things like chain link fences, but they can't even climb trees. Unless your block wall is in serious need of repair and made a virtual staircase for it, I doubt very much it climbed it 4.5 feet.
If a skunk falls into a window well it can't even climb out of that, and those are usually ribbed.

Knowing my luck, I only gave that a 50/50 shot of working out of the box.
Wrapped up the repair and paint job on the garage service door too, and if you weren't looking up close with a magnifying glass you couldn't tell that it wasn't brand new. It's times like these where I'm really glad that I took a ton of before shots and videos, because by the time I'm done with everything there would be no evidence that I did anything at all.
High of 91 on Tuesday, so I won't have to wait long to give the A/C a proper test.

Nice. Don't watch the news though or you'll be convinced that a minority is waiting outside your apartment door waiting to stab you. I wish I could say I was joking, but I've had two people warn me on the phone today that I better lock my doors. Everything is going to be alright.
In the mean time... Mowed my lawn for the 2nd time in 3 days and got it down to a reasonable length again before the hot weather sets in tomorrow. Hopefully the days of mowing my lawn twice a week are over for the year. It hasn't looked this good in years.
Did some work outside to further secure the A/C in the window. I don't think that's going to go anywhere now.
Didn't get around to spraying for bugs and weeds before I lost daylight. I'll have to do that tomorrow before it hits 90 degrees. But at least it should be nice and cool and humidity free when I get back inside.
I also ordered an on board diagnostic tool for the car codes. I'm going to get to the bottom of this. They make aftermarket gizmos to fool the computer that people who use illegal mods for street racing put in their cars. If it turns out it's cheaper and easier to do that, so be it.

Didn't do any yardwork today, but I DID walk the dog since she didn't get to rummage thru the yard looking for lizards while I worked. Just didn't have it in me to go out and do more yardwork. Altho I DID bin up all of the weeds that I pulled/dug up from the front, plus some shrub trimmings. So there was only one greenwaste bin curbed this week, but it was a righteous one!
We put the second plywood insert into the wall, and I finally figured out what the framing was so screwy ... when the former owners added on to the house, they converted the garage from a one-car to a two-car. That's why there were two set of doubled studs and they weren't 16" apart in the middle, but somewhat less.
So I got to take out part of the wallboard/plaster wall (That's how they built this house, with plaster over wallboard) using the angle grinder and reciprocating saw for around the studs, but then I had to go in and make dinner (beef and cheese burritos with green enchilada sauce to flavor the beef, and homemade green salsa - green peppers, onion, garlic, a crapton of cilantro, lime juice and salt- with cucumber salad on the side and strawberries for desert.)
