Oh by all means, take your time! Everything I've seen of yours is fantastic, so I wouldn't want to rush you. Not to mention I need to save up money and, mm, maybe lose a few pounds before I commission it anyways ;) I'll remind you in a few weeks though, just in case it slips your mind.

I am just glad that I am able to build costumes for a show I love that other people want to have, too. It makes me feel good to be able to do this, and I love the responses!

Alabama, eh?
When my car died my father loaned me his to use until I can afford another one, on the condition that I not take any road trips (I have a nasty habit of just up and driving across the country).
Alabama, however, does not qualify. I've decided.
So, here's my proposal: when things quiet down (HA! like that will happen) and you have time to work on the dress, I will drive to you so I can get a custom fitted jacket and dress.
What do you think? Hell, find a couple of Browncoats here in the Southeast to join me and we can make an adventure out of it!

Whim, no problem at all! The cloth is all from the same place, so they would all be $60.00. I will attempt to get pictures of the cloth...I am almost a fixture at the fabric store, so hopefully they'll let me take pictures in there...we shall see!

Marina, you've got a deal! And no, Alabama does not count as a road trip. So, when things do calm down, we shall get together for measurements. A mini-shindig would also not be amiss! Hey, if I can get my bar set up like I'm planning before then (Maidenhead/Inara's shuttle decoration mix), that would be a great time to break it in!

I have returned from my weekend jaunt, and will be getting back into the costume shop tonight. I've got the jacket to play with, Zoe's coat to start building, and Zoe's vest to tweak...along with some Browncoat buckles to make...I may have to start a sweat-shop somewhere!
