So, a couple days ago (Mon night I think) I was watching the daily show on comedy central with my wife. We were chatting during the break when out of the corner of my eye a commercial caught my attention. Now it seemed as though it was just another condom commercial, but there was an added product in it. Something along the lines of a vibrator. One of those ring things that go on the guys thingy with some vibrator thingy attached to it. I wasn't offended by any means. It just showed the product (briefly) and that was it. But, it certainly did surprise me that something like that is starting to be advertised. I guess such things have become somewhat less taboo, eh?

So, lil bro' comes home yesterday, with the license plate and license plate holder torn off of [b]MY CAR![/b] Then mom and lil bro start to act like the car our mom and dad payed to have set up for [b]ME[/b] is only lil bro's! So, I've [b]FINALLY[/b] turned our father to my way of thinking, but, [b]MOM[/b] jumps in to defend her poor defenseless son, who has basically now just gotten away with damaging [b]MY CAR![/b] So, now that lil bro' has gotten away with the car our parents set up for me, he's happy and I'm [b]STILL[/b] stuck at home to get even more [b]PISSED![/b] Should I just give up and realize that even though I [b]SHOULD[/b] have the car by this point I'll have to wait until I get a job in the next ten years to [b]FINALLY[/b] have my car!

Still feel like sleeping... only until Sunday, though. Feeling slightly better, as inj I can go to school. Seems that I missed out on a History Test and finding out that I had an Essay to do today in English. Better news- Mei-mei is out from her night in the ER- she had a bladder infection or somesuch, and has some pill or other to take every six hours. I am, mostly, left in the dark. I look at my students and, for the most part, think they are pretty good kids. Sure they can be annoying, rude, and difficult, but they really are trying to do the best they can. I am a little worried though as they head out there...the world is not friendly and they are ill equipped to deal with it because all school has become is a place where we spend all year working on the material contained in a single test so that we will not lose our jobs and so that our students will be prepared to pass the final test of high school that will give them their all important diploma. Gone are all the real world life lessons we used to teach. Gone are the hands on , project based lessons. Gone are the activities and the memorable experiences, and the lessons that provide students the opportunities to develop and grow as a person...So when you look for the future of America and think of those who will become world leaders,doctors, lawyers, business people, you'd better hope the only crisis they face is one involving a multiple choice test.

woooooooo, last day of school EVER tomorrow!! bring on college! lovely day today, consisting of signing everyone's shirts and yearbooks, and not a lot else. My yearbook needs some serious alterations, seen as the entire yearbook committee consisted of one group of friends, so its just them and their chavvy friends, winning all the awards etc. I sense some serious mick taking. It was really uplifting to read everyone's comments in my book, and my shirt, find out what people really think about me. However, little awkward when my mother wanted to read said comments, several of which were by my male friends about my none-too-decent adventures at a party I went to last week. All I will say is that I wanted to go in the pool. ahem. Quick thinking needed there! Anywho, quick change of subject! that was a beast of a party, but the boys I know should know me well enough by know that I am something of a party animal, and I will flirt with absolutely anything at all (unless it already has an SO, or a friend of mine is interested in it), without it meaning a thing, and so should not take me seriously and think that anything will be different the next day. I know, I have a problem, its gotten me into awkward trouble several times over the last few months. Is there perhaps a Flirters Annonymous I could join?? Holiday to Sark for a week tomorrow, yay! though I have to take revision instead of books this year :(. Lets hope its not like last year and we actually take off within two days of initial departure time! Well into my exams already, I've had a short course RE, citizenship, and an English lit, which Im pretty sure I failed, I suck at writing to time. But, the only good thing about exams is they mean that prom is soon! I'm so excited! I've got everything sorted, and I'll post piccies of me in my dress afterwards.

It's his birthday today, and I know I'm supposed to feel happy for him, but all I feel is resentment and jealousy! As soon as he reaches driving age, he gets his license, gets [b]MY[/b] car, [b]AND[/b] gets a drum set! What did I get when I reached driving age?
