The cottage I'm staying at has Wireless, which is great for mobility, but not all that much different from DSL when it comes to speed.

Our last cottage had no Internet connection, so this one was a huge upgrade.

I was lying out on the deck tonight with the family, they saw shooting stars, that I wasn't paying attention to, but I noticed an arm of the Milky Way, before they did, but it took my dad who's a science teacher to I.D. it as such.

So, I'm about half way through my vacation, I'm relaxed, slightly more tan than I was four days ago, and a little more knowledgeable than I was before I came.

All said, it's been a damn good trip this year.

OK, I've never done this before, so I guess I should. I fell in love with Firefly from the first frame of "The Train Job" Back in '02. since then I've been buying up everything I could get my hands on. My bedroom is as close to a Firefly shrine as I could get it. I have unfortunatly been unable to attend any conventions for a few different reasons, chief among them, the cons have been further away from home then I can travel. I love this 'verse Joss has created and I will hold out hope for a big damn sequel!
