LONG TIME GONE

Well folks, that is, the two or so of you who might remember me, I'm back. After a long summer of recharging my batteries and working full time (actually, by dint of working a totally mindless job, those two are not necessarily mutually exclusive) I'm back on the ol' BDH express. It feels good to be back. I've done me level best to spread the good word of the 'verse in my absence.
Hopefully, I won't be disappearing again for along stretch of time. It's amazing how easy it is to lose track of this wonderful little community when you don't have your own internet access.
On a personal note, I want to thank everybody who voted for the Strawberry Awards. As a fanfic writer, it's nice to know that people read and, in fact, like one's work. Kudos to the winners, in all of the categories!
Now, it's time to get started on my ginormous trilogy fic, which will if all goes well amount to roughly three full length novels by the time I'm done.
God willing, I won't be cursing my own name for starting this thing!

Also, because I seem to be pushing it just about everywhere else, please check out my fanfic, which I've dubbed "The Tales Series." Each story is about an individual member of the crew, seperated from the whole. My basic intent is to try and strip each character down to his/her core without being dependent on his/her relationships to the rest. The way I see it, if I can write them alone and get the characterizations right, writing them together will be a snap. All I'll have to do is throw them in a room and let them interact.
