Here's the thing - when you start gunning up and prattling on about "tyranny", when you gunbunnies and ammosexuals start preaching about "second amendment remedies", this is what is looks like.
Don't be squeamish about it now, ya big pussies. *THIS* is what you've been arming for. This is why you take your AR15 to Kroger, why you hang out with all the open carry dolts, why you joined the tea party. Who the fuck did you think you were going to have to shoot when it came time to oppose all the "tyranny" in your neighborhood? The mailman? Don't even think about it; he's probably packing more heat than you are, and he's edgy as fuck and PTSD'd beyond all reason, and he'll blow your fucking head off in a heartbeat.

de Blasio ran on a campaign of being anti-cop. That's not a secret. Since he's been in office, he's not had the back of the police, and openly spoken of how his own son should fear the police.

And de Blasio wasn’t at all dubious when they vowed to help police find the protesters who attacked two lieutenants during demonstrations on the Brooklyn Bridge last week.

I walked every block of the million march in NYC a week ago Saturday, and not at any point did anyone chant a thing about dead cops. Police were present throughout, and although they occasionally got lectured, there was no kind of suggestion of violence toward them.
In fact, I caught up with an unsanctioned extension of the march when a few hundred people crossed the Brooklyn bridge, shutting down traffic out of downtown manhattan for a fairly long time. The protestors were followed by a large group of cops with plastic cuffs and batons and a squad of police vans. A large contingent of police waited on the far side of the bridge. It was intense.
The police allowed them to exit the bridge without making arrests, which I think was wise because there were several ppl besides myself with cameras in hand. (Unfortunately, by then my battery was dead.) At this point I parted ways, since I'd been walking for over 4 hours and wasn't at all dressed for it. I crossed the street through the protestors a they passed by, and saw firsthand protestors reminding each other: do NOT touch the police officers!
What a surprise, that our resident RWA troll quotes faux news rather than getting out there and experiencing reality.
