Killer Ismmaiyl Brinsley shot his ex-girlfriend in the Baltimore area early Saturday before posting on her Instagram account and other social media, New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said at a news conference.

Shortly before the shooting, Instagram user "dontrunup" posted a photo of a silver handgun with wooden grips and the caption: "I'm putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours … Let's take 2 of theirs. #shootthepolice #ripericgardner #ripmikebrown This may be my final post … I'm putting pigs in a blanket."

Police said they found a silver handgun by Brinsley's body.

The user's next post shows what appears to be a bloodstained pants leg and the caption "Never had a hot gun on your waist and blood on your shoe … you aint been through what I been through you not like me and I'm not like you."

The account was suspended shortly after the shooting.

The Instagram account is linked to Facebook user named Bleau Barracuda, who police said appears to be Brinsley.

The last Facebook status made on that account a few hours before the shootings said: "I Always Wanted To Be Known For Doing Something Right....... But My Past Is Stalking Me And My Present Is Haunting Me."

Photos posted to that Facebook account show pictures of Brinsley in cities across the country, including Las Vegas and Boston.
Bratton said Brinsley had ties to the Brooklyn area but had been living in Georgia.

Sharpton will now spin his ass off and then go to Sony studios next week and try to change the subject. If MSNBC keeps him after this, THAT'S proof they're as bad has he is. Olbermann (who's stupid) got fired for just being an asshole, there's blood of Sharpton's hands.

Police officers turn their backs on New York Mayor Bill de Blasio as he is accused of having 'blood on his hands' over anti-police sentiments

Hundreds are attacking Mayor Bill de Blasio, President Barack Obama and Al Sharpton after the murder of two police officers in Brooklyn on Saturday

Many are saying that Mayor de Blasio has 'blood on his hands' and 'should be charged with murder'

Retired NYPD detective Harry Houck told CNN, 'I guess Al Sharpton got what he wanted'

A Move On petition demanding that Mayor de Blasio resign already has thousands of signatures

Sharpton has released a statement saying, 'We plan to hold a press conference in the morning to express our outrage and our condolences to the families and the police department'

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik said, 'De Blasio, Sharpton and all those who encouraged this anti-cop, racist mentality all have blood on their hands'

Hundreds of officers lined the street at the Woodhull medical Center and silently saluted as the bodies of the two police officers were driven away Saturday evening

There's blood on Instagram's page. It suspended the killer's account because Instagram knew it was guilty of encouraging murder. I say Instagram should be fired!

When the Mayor went to the hospital to see the two police officers the cops in the hall turned their backs on him, they're not blaming the internet. Sharpton caused this mess, but ole' Bill did nothing to clam the city. Many thought the city would go to Hell after he became mayor, but they didn't think it would happen over night. The city is divided thanks to Sharpton, thanks to him many see the police as the bad guys.

And who has gone to great lengths to prop up the con artist / race baiter Sharpton as some sort of legit voice ??

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

I heard some of the reaction last night and I gotta say, it's over-the-top.

"Attacking the basis of our society"
What, you mean our society is based on endless militarized policing and intrusive surveillance?

Blaming de Blasio for supporting people's 1st Amendment rights?

Look how cops hang together. Clean cops cover for dirty ones. Cops make up their own street justice as they go along. Instead of protecting and serving the people, they protect and serve themselves.

They're just two more dead people, no less but no more important than anyone else.

*Shrugs. Walks away*

Murdering 2 cops who sit in their car is as far from 1st Amendment Rights as you can get. And same goes for violence ,uncivil disobedience, rioting...

What de Blasio did was foment fear and mistrust for the cops, instead of trying to clam things down.

No, he didn't pull the trigger, but when he mentioned that he told his own son to fear the cops, he crossed the line.

The police union (and most NYC Cops) is pissed at Billy D for giving more support to the protesters then the police. Al and Billy allowed this to boil over, this mess has nothing to do with the 1st amendment.
